I had to ask the nurse for his name. It seemed more like the nurse and front office people were more annoyed that someone showed up.

After a crisis, Newport Urgent Care took care of me quickly and kindly.  The check in & insurance process was very easy, which I really appreciated.  The staff was kind and professional.  I would recommend this office.

I took a urinary test for a UTI.  I have all of the symptoms into a 0% chance of an STI. According to dozens of credible sources online, overhydration can cause a false negative test. When I called after my appointment to check back in with the doctor to see if that was a possibility, the receptionist would not allow me to speak to them and swore that that was impossible. It was not helpful.

Had a sore throat and was worried about going on a business trip.  Got in immediately.   They did a quick strep test while I waited and was negative.  Covid also ruled out so it was viral.  Doc gave me some backup meds and said I should be okay to travel since not contagious and shouldn’t get worse.  Definitely recommend.

I love the doctor here.  She speaks with knowledge and care for her patients.  The office decor is horribly dated.  The online scheduling is nice but doesn’t seem to get you in faster if others walk-in.
