It is easy to schedule an appointment time on line. The staff is pleasant and willing to listen.

It would be helpful if for those who make an appointment online to receive stays when the office is running behind. I waited more than 2 hours and there wasn’t anyone in the waiting room the first hour I was in there. I had waited in my car until the portal said I was next. There wasn’t any appearance of an emergency.

The process was very quick and easy and the receptionist at the front desk was very helpful. The doctor gave me a thorough check up. I was in a lot of pain from a toothache which she confirmed very quickly along with taking all my stats . I I felt like everybody cared, and I was in good hands. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I recently brought my son to the Nextcare location in Dumfries after he fell down the stairs and injured his ankle. Prior to the visit, I carefully reviewed the Nextcare website, which explicitly stated that X-ray services were available. Based on this information, I booked an appointment online, clearly indicating my son's injury. Upon arrival at the scheduled time and prior to arrival, I was not informed that an on-site X-ray technician was unavailable to operate the machine. It was only after the nurse practitioner examined my son that I learned there was no  X-ray technician and that a referral would be necessary for imaging at another facility. This significantly delays the diagnosis and treatment process, as we now have to wait for the external X-ray results to be returned to the nurse practitioner. This experience was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. Had I known beforehand that an on-site X-ray services was unavailable, I would have sought immediate care at a facility equipped to handle my son's injury. The misleading information on the Nextcare website creates a false sense of convenience and potentially wastes valuable time for patients in need of immediate care. I believe that Nextcare should clearly and prominently display on their website that an on-site X-ray technician is not consistently available. This transparency is crucial for patients to make informed decisions about where to seek care. I am concerned that this lack of transparency may be a deliberate attempt to attract patients for a  visit charge , only to then direct them elsewhere for essential diagnostic services. I hope this review will encourage Nextcare to improve its communication and transparency regarding its X-ray services to prevent similar inconveniences for other patients.

Staff is always friendly but this time I waited to see the provider 2 and half hours It was a follow up appointment though  Providers are always kind

My 2yr old has been sick and her doctor office was closed. I was able to make a same day appointment within the hour. It was quick and effective.

Scheduling my appointment was good. Check-in was good in and out within 30 mins. Staff was nice and friendly, and the doctor was nice and friendly and took care of me. Yes would recommend this provider.

This location seems to be extensively long waits my first  return visit 4 hour wait but was told two when walked in at check in counter  ….  This second visit  was yesterday and waited with one person ahead … upon looking at doors while waiting in lobby glass doors were so printed up which then brought my attention other places in the area that cleanliness is needed!

The staff and the doctor was impeccable! I got in, got my services, and was assisted with a prescription immediately. And I feel better today!! Thank you for everything.

I called and made a same day appointment for 2:00 pm.  According to the receptionist there was a 30 minute wait.  I waited in the waiting room for one hour before they called me back to a room.  Then I waited another hour and fifteen minutes before I was seen by the doctor.  I saw people walk in non-emergency without an appointment and was seen before me.  I’m not sure why it took so long to be seen since we were all being seen for cold/flu like symptoms with the exception of a young boy with a splinter in his hand/finger.
