What patients are saying...

I have really never had a great experience with Urgent Care. My husband & I spent the whole morning looking for an appointment with a PCP. All PCP say go to urgent care, & urgent care says go to pcp. Mine retired so I currently don’t have one. The staff was fabulous, the reception & MA did their job well & were kind. Id taken my mother here for care & thought they did a great job. My experience however, was not helpful & quite frankly a waste of my time. I’m in the medical field & managed a PCP clinic. The provider was basically in a nut shell, bitter as if she couldn’t do anything to help me because they are just “Urgent Care”. Didn’t acknowledge the fact that I wasn’t feeling well, didn’t advise going to the ER (meaning if she couldn’t help me & my problems were beyond her capabilities).  Ignored my HBP readings I had at home. Seemed normal there, but didn’t even raise a concern or have it double checked. Didn’t cover any history, or take my temperature. Basically she said need to go to my PCP. She sarcastically said well HBP we don’t have a brain scan, & stomach pain we can’t do an endoscopy. All she did was prescribe something for acid reflux, which frankly I’ve handled my entire life. I know she meant well, & was friendly, but she had no idea of my medical background, & I know better than the treatment I received. I’m wondering what the point of Urgent Care is anymore? She acted like there was literally nothing she could do. Which isn’t accurate. There was a lot more she could have addressed. Maybe she is in urgent care because she doesn’t want to follow up with any patients, making her job pretty easy because she doesn’t have to actually diagnose or treat anyone.  Being fairly new to being overweight, that’s all she seemed to care about. Not the fact that I had been unable to function the past 3 days & bed ridden. It can be really demeaning & send someone into depression when a provider only acknowledges your appearance, & not the reason why.. not to mention the fact that not feeling well already, I’m not there for someone to tell me I’m overweight & that’s probably why I don’t feel good. I’m there because I don’t feel good, & I feel much better when I’m not sick despite the fact that yes, I currently have some extra lbs. little does she know there’s a pretty good reason why.  I was the only person there & somehow it took an over an hour to basically have a UA (even though that was not relevant, & again wanted to point out there was a tini tiny little difference in my urine that could mean I have diabetes, again back to the weight & not a concern at the current time), & some acid reflux meds. Very disappointing indeed. I won’t ever return, & probably won’t ever go to another Urgent Care again. Can’t wait to see how the billing comes out.

I was there for almost 2 hours and received no care. I had already had an appointment with telehealth earlier today and only came in at the direction of the Dr. I made an effort to get there just to get shunted to the side. For this I could have just stayed home.

Scheduling the appointment was super easy and so was checking in. The staff were super helpful getting me set up for workers comp after getting an injury during work hours. They helped my get x-rays and made sure to share results with me ASAP. Waiting was a bit longer due to an emergency, which can happen at an urgent care. Definitely recommend this place overall when you need something checked that doesn’t need to be in the ER.

Was visiting my sister (I live in KS) and started having symptoms of a UTI.  Was able to get in quickly and was seen in less than an hour!  So happy I decided to not wait till returning home.  It saved my vacay!

Easy to schedule but what’s the point of booking an appointment if I had to wait 30 min past the appointment time once I got there anyway because of walk-ins “ahead of me”?  Doctor was very nice, great bedside manner.

It was great. The only issue is the knee brace they gave me is too big (M) and keeps slipping down my leg no matter how much i tighten it.

Online scheduling was easy and the office was ready for my visit when I arrived.  The receptionist and admitting nurse were friendly and went right to work gathering information to handle my problem.  I appreciated the physician reviewing my information and then examining to make certain other conditions were not involved.  His questions amazingly revealed the source of my problem and accurately assessed my situation.  He gave understanding, professional advice and appropriate medication.  Super medical facility!
