Went there with my wife New Year’s Day. Got there early in the morning since she was sick with signs of Covid. Simple facts stated: - check in process was lengthy but not too bad. They make you wait it in your car and wait to be called. We waited after arrival 45 min for checkin and to be called inside. - once inside got seen relatively fast. Dr and attending nurse were nice. That day was Doctors first day there, but he was kind and seemed to care about our needs. - wife was positive and I negative. - not much to give other than OTC medicine advice, but since her cough was bad and sleep interrupted, they prescribed Codeine cough medicine. - said they sent it to our CVS near our home. Here is the problem. - called hour after leaving, 2 hours and 4 hours after and pharmacy did not have order. Called This urgent care location 2 times to ask to send it over. Of course, never came and they closed early that day. So another night of no sleep for her. - call on morning of 2nd, first CVS. Nothing and they stated they will not call the Dr office. Call back to Northside UC and we left multiple messages with nurse line. - front desk folks checked for us and nurses said it was sent. Very well might have been the case, but I needed a solution. Nurse never called me and front desk seemed bothered by a paying patient needing something after being dismissed and they refused to call CVS about this. Being rushed off the phone and directed back to a empty nurse line is clearly what was happening. Note I have same symptoms and she and I are now both coughing so bad. Seems to me, they get you in, get your basic care done but will not follow though with problems that are clearly ones they should address. Convince me that I’m wrong here. It is 2:30am on Jan 3rd and breaking my heart to hear her coughing and suffering. Now my cough is getting bad. I truly hope they handle this. I’ll never use them again!!
