What patients are saying...

I took my son here for a COVId test. There is a NC mask mandate for all healthcare facilities, but the staff was not wearing masks. None of the other patients were wearing masks. The staff who did my son’s test was not wearing a mask. She only swabbed the inside of his nostrils. She did not put the swab in his nose cavity and did not leave it long enough. When I questioned her, she said that wasn’t necessary anymore. I have talked to a doctor and researched on medical sites, and she was wrong. Now, we have to get him tested again and will delay results another day. This is completely unacceptable! My friend who is an ICU doctor in NC said their unit is filling with patients again. So very disappointed.

Took an elderly client with a suspected UTI, no other patients in building. Provider came into the waiting room, said “we don’t have a laboratory or advanced testing equipment like X-ray machines, you’re gonna have to take her to New Bern”.
