Went in at 10:00am and wasn’t seen until 2:00pm. A 4 hour wait and it wasn’t like the place was incredibly busy - there weren’t that many people there.  For an urgent care there doesn’t seem to be much urgency and I’m sure that is exasperated by the fact that there seems to be only (1) practitioner on staff. Now, to be fair, I did go the day before Christmas Eve so whether that affected their staffing, who’s to say but it seemed like the Ledgewood Urgent Care Location didn’t have this issue as during the (4) hours I stubbornly sat in the waiting room, I watched as many people came in, and subsequently in turn left for the Ledgewood location.  So if you need quick attention and can make the trip to Ledgewood, do that. Don’t bother with the Hackettstown location if you’re looking to be seen in a timely fashion, you’re almost better off going to the ER or make an appointment but even then prepare to wait. My recommendation to Atlantic Health would be to add more doctors to this location so that patients can be seen in a more timely manner. Would k recommend? No. However, everyone was friendly, the location was clean, and everything else was fine they just take forever. So if you go, plan to spend you’re whole day there.

Made an appointment for 3:30pm but wasn’t seen until 5:30pm. I didn’t see the staff clean or disinfect anything in the waiting room once. I went in for severe nausea and have been prescribed medication for it in the past so I knew what to ask for. Doctor wasn’t too helpful and either never prescribed or never heard of the anti-nausea medication I was inquiring about. It was truly a waste of time. The receptionists were unfriendly. However, the only friendly person was the nurse. She was sweet.

The doctor we saw spoke WAY too quickly.  He really was awful. His nexus was bad and made you feel like a number.  I had trouble following him because he spoke so quickly.  Would not go back if he was the on call doctor.

They should have informed me of a four hour wait instead of letting me sit in pain. Awful! They took everyone before me even if they came after me! They even allowed one person to leave and come back!! Awful

Woke up feeling terrible and I was not able to get into my regular physicians office. I decided to contact urgent care and this office was very helpful, friendly and Dr. Vincent was great explaining my condition and what the medication would do. Overall, time in and out was 30 mins.
