The treatment by the nurse practitioner was fine in terms of friendliness, ability to listen and make a diagnosis. The wait time in my car, while feeling sick and in 38 degrees, was terrible. It was an 1.5 hours after being told approximately 40 minutes. In addition, I had to wait 25 minutes in the exam room before seeing the nurse practitioner. It turned out that I had RSV and was told to treat at home with tea, honey and non-prescription meds if I had a cold. There must be another way to do this! Perhaps making an appointment on line if you may be contagious.

I was advised by my mothers Doctor to take her to this Urgent care and not the ER. I should have gone with my gut and taken her to the ER. First there was a 2 hour wait just to see someone, the good thing is we didn't have to stay at the office, so that was nice. although when we were called back, they had us in the exam room for an hour +, my Mother just had surgery two days before and I had stressed to all that we came in contact with this information, even asked them do you think we should go to the ER. all said no and someone will be right with us. After an hour I told them we were leaving as they all sat outside our room, after that the nurse ( friendly) came in and did what she had to do, and a doctor came in right after her, I feel that they forgot we were in there. They sent my mom to get a chest x-ray. sent us back to the exam room - another hour goes by I told them I am done and going to bring my 80 year old mother home , as I mentioned she just had surgery- they were like oh we have your results - we are going to call a prescription into the pharmacy for her. the next day I go to pick up the prescription as it was late when we got home. The prescription was never called in. Called Urgent care - they put me on hold for 10 min I call back on the other line and the same person picks up and goes oh, we cant get in touch with the doctor who was here yesterday so we don't know what to tell you, someone will call you back. The wait time I don't mind, I understand its a weekend, but the communication is scary not there. There needs to be training for this location, as I have been to locations close to where I live and never had an issue like this.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The wait time was awful. They told me 2 hours and it ended up being three. Then they didn’t send prescription to pharmacy which cost me another hour and a half. Totally unacceptable! Won’t be going back to CareMount any time soon. I am basically done with them. The girl at front desk was nice but that’s about it.
