What patients are saying...

They REFUSED to treat my son due to his father having a past bill...my son is on my insurance & lives with me. When the injury occurred it was his father's weekend. So instead he had to bring him home so I could turn right around and take him back. Their still getting paid, would have if they seen him the first time. Not to mention everytime we go there they send us to the hospital for simple things...what are they capable of treating?

This was my first experience with this urgent care facility. I went in because I was experiencing ruptured blood vessels all over my body. I was at work before hand so I ended up there around 9:30pm (half hour before close, yet there were still many patients in lobby). My visit started off fine with friendly registration. When I went in to see the doctor, I did not feel any sympathy towards my issues and the doc seemed pretty rushed, which made me feel uncomfortable/like my condition wasn't worth his time. He ordered some blood work in house which was done within 10 minutes or so. When he came back in to give me my results, he was very flat/emotionless telling me that I am in a "life-threatening" situation and I needed to rush to the ER immediately (blood platelet count dangerously low, could've led to spontaneous internal bleeding and required a blood platelet transfusion). Given the fact that I was just told this is "life-threatening" I am naturally freaking out... yet I get no extra assistance from the staff. They are telling me to rush to the ER immediately yet they have the audacity to just let me walk out of the facility on my own and drive myself. No one asks I have a ride, if I need a ride, nothing, not even assistance walking to my car. At this point, I am hysterically crying in my car, disoriented, not knowing where to go and just terrified with the news I just received. The staff here had no regard to my physical/mental state after this diagnosis. It was extremely unprofessional, unsafe (my low platelet count meant my blood wouldn't clot if I were to, I don't know, have gotten injured in even a minor accident due to my mental state while driving to the ER alone. It could've easily been fatal. I easily could've just bled to death), and just straight unsympathetic! I was recommended to go to this urgent care specifically by others with great experiences but I will NOT find myself going back here. If I would've gotten injured in this drive from the urgent care to the ER, they would have themselves in a legal bind right now.
