What patients are saying...

I understand that wait times are terrible due to the flu right now, so the 2 hr wait that I endured was expected. My issue is the charge that I received. I had to pay a remainder balance when I arrived, so, at that time, I authorized Patient First to use my debit card. My child, was diagnosed with a double ear infection, so I opted to let them fill the medication. When the physician came back with the medication in hand, and did not discuss the payment, I was not alarmed due to me having a primary and secondary insurance (I normally do not have to pay anything for prescriptions). It was not until the next day when I was checking my account that I noticed a $230 charge from Patient First. I was livid because no one had ever asked me if I was willing to pay $230 for some eardrops. I have contacted the billing department to dispute this issue and they cannot give me an ETA on when my funds will be returned. I have contacted Patient First in Pasadena and all they were able to tell me was the physician was new, and he does not really know how to use the system! I have also contacted Patient First’s corporate office, and I have not received a call back, even though they say that all calls will be returned within 48 hours. So moral of the story is question any medication that you get from them to make sure that you’re not being charged more that you should be and beware of Dr. Harris because he’s new and “is not familiar with the system”!

Brought my mom here on July 4. She is 87 and had a very bad chest cold. We waited 3 1/2 hours in the waiting room before anyone even looked at her. If this place is going to be open on any holiday they should at least be staffed to handle the amount of people walking through the front door. I have received apology letters for long wait times in the past, I’m sure I’ll receive another one for my mom. Nothing changes… they can simply take that letter and wipe their ass with it !

Worst experience I had for using them for a DOT physical. They took 2 hours to get it done for me after I was brought back in the room. When I asked if they send them over to the MVA they stated YES, come to find out they never did and my license was down graded. Now it’s going to cost me 2 days of revenue of netting $900 of work and $70 and wasting my time to go to MVA and reinstate my Maryland DL...!!!!!
