The doctor was a half hr late The front office person was extremely unfriendly in a ped office The doctor was extremely kind and great with my kids but he dismissed the fact that there was pneumonia going around in my home and he didn't give either of my boys antibiotics after a 5 day continued fever. He did a xray on my one son and said it was clear and 2 hrs later called back and said the radiologist found the starting of pneumonia. My other son still has a fever and is worsening because he didn't listen to me when all along I KNEW they both had pneumonia. So now instead of my 4 yr old getting better hes getting worse and it's the weekend and now I have to take him back to another urgent care.

Took my two year old son in Friday for a high fever and runny nose. I was asked to put money towards the balance so I put 50 dollars down. There was fluid in ears but no bacteria. His throat was swollen they said and swabbed him for strep and it was negative. She said lungs sounded clear and that they could swab him for flu but it wouldn’t change anything. They treated it as a viral infection and said to keep giving Tylenol and Motrin. Saturday night he burned up with 104.5 rectal temp and he had the chills. Took him Back Sunday afternoon. I was asked by the same person to put more money towards the balance I just paid on Friday. I told him I couldn’t. When I called I was told that it was busy on Sunday’s and I should prepare to wait for a while. I booked and online app and when I came in only one person was ahead of me. When the doctor came in I told her I was debating on coming in but that my sister In law who is a nurse told me it would be good to get a second opinion. She then asked me if my sister in law was a pediatric nurse and I should tell her that since Covid they expected fevers to last 3-4 days and coughs 2-4 weeks.  I told her that this was day 5 of a high fever. She listened to his lungs and said they were clear. I also told her they said his throat was swollen Friday so then she checked and said it still was. She said she could do an x ray to check and turned out my son has walking pneumonia. I wish I told the nurse Friday to flu swab him because if it came back negative I could have asked them to run more tests. I’m glad I went with my gut and took him back in. Children are ending up in the icu because they don’t run EVERY test at the first sign of symptoms. My son ended up getting even sicker and went longer than he should have without antibiotics because they assumed he had the flu. Next time I will make SURE that they run every possible test before assuming anything about my child.

Was able to get in the office but at check in the guy was rude and not welcoming. As we sat in the waiting area the two people at the desk proceeded to talk about other patients in a negative way while we sat in the waiting area.  The place was busy but the dr was an angel. She was patient and listened and throughly examined the child. She gets a gold star for her job.  Please reevaluate the front desk staff. Remind them that people sitting in the waiting area do not want to hear them talking about previous patients. As bad of a patient they were the staff was just as horrible. When they didn’t have people to check in they could have taken a few moments to go tidy up the wait area from the ick in the room rather than just spraying Lysol. Again I want to reiterate that the Dr was AMAZING!!’
