HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at this location. This was our second time taking my sick daughter for an urgent visit. My daughter is 17 months old and nurse NOLAN was taking her pulse ox with an ADULT pulse ox clip. Obviously my 17 month old sick daughter was in no mood to graciously provide her finger to attach the clip. So what this nurse does is grab her hand and forcefully try to attach it to her finger. When she didn’t comply he was like “stay still” and again went on to grab her hand and hold it so tightly that it was bordering physical abuse. So at this point I request him to let me help him take my daughter’s vitals being that let me hold her hand gently and you can try to attach the clip. He let go of her hand for a second and before I could even try he rudely tells me “ look what you did, she pulled away her hand completely”!!!! All this is while I’m carrying my daughter on one arm standing there with no chair to sit. He then snatches away his adult pulse ox clip and again grabs my daughters hand using so much pressure that she was now screaming. Now he tries to attach the adhesive probe to her finger squeezing it tightly. At this point I was done and told him 2-3 times to let go off my daughter’s hand. When he didn’t comply I had to tell him to stop taking the pulse ox. He then fumes off to nurse station and then returns back saying that “ YOU CAN GO THE ER” , “ LET ME SHOW YOU THE DOOR”.!!!! Just wow!!!! What a nurse and what an attitude. I was so shaken up by this incident that I wanted the supervisor to know. Again a disappointment. CLARA who is the supervisor never returned my call after I left a voicemail. What an appalling behavior of nurse. Parents beware!
