First, i’m disappointed that the physicians one in Bristol Connecticut did not have an x-ray technician available, I needed to have an x-ray of my ankle. Went to the physicians one urgent care in Derby Connecticut. I called to make sure there was an x-ray technician available and they told me there was to come right down there, so I did. Upon arrival the staff turned me away, after speaking with the technician on the phone, who then said that she told me to come in. I had to wait for the X-ray technician to arrive, they were not on site.  Needing a splint for a fractured ankle, soft cast as they called it, they proceeded to measure the material and run around to get what they needed. It took two people to figure it out. Once they wrapped my ankle with ace bandages which also took two people to do. My foot started to hurt much worse. The provider came in and said it was bandaged correctly. Within a half hour the pain was not tolerable and my toes were purple. So much nerve pain and tingling. Next time the staff should take more time to care for what the patient is saying rather than thinking they know.

Each of the 3 staff members I encountered were very nice and professional. The wait time was not so great. I arrived /checked in 10:20a for my 10:45a. Only the 10:30 patient was before me but the waiting area was crowded. I went to the examination room at 11:05 and then out the door at 12:05. I think too many walk ins made this very slow. Provider (Christine?) was good though.

Staff very friendly. Caregivers knowledgeable. In and out in a very reasonable amount of time. Would use them again for an urgent care need.

We had a fantastic experience bringing my mother in for care. Every single team member we had an interaction with was friendly and caring. The nurse and provider listened with empathy and care. We were not rushed and felt we were listened to. Very grateful for such a positive experience!

I’ve used this urgent care more than once. Every time I go there the staff is very helpful. I definitely recommend going to this urgent care if needed.

Any time I need a quick check on a medical issue this is my go to place. Easy schedule easy in and quick out. Staff is very polite and great patient care.
