At Physicians Care, we understand that when the need for care is urgent to you, the solution needs to be compassionate, comprehensive, and convenient. Instead of an expensive trip to the ER or a long wait for a doctor’s appointment, our urgent care centers in south and east Tennessee are open late and on weekends. Physicians Care treats injuries and illnesses, as well as provides occupational health and wellness care.

Non-emergent healthcare conditions treated by Physicians Care include: sprains, strains and broken bones; eye and ear infections; burns; bites, stings and allergic reactions; asthma and respiratory issues; flu, colds and viral illnesses; diarrhea, nausea and vomiting; urinary tract infections, and much more. Physicians Care also has suturing and X-ray capabilities, as well as provides both diagnostic and preventive care including wellness visits, management and monitoring of chronic conditions, annual physicals, DOT exams, immunizations, and most vaccinations. I went there with high blood pressure, within 30 minutes they got it lowered. I had a funny and attentive nurse that had me feeling better in no time. I spoke with the physician who took the time to explain what was happening, and one thing I appreciated, he actually listened to me. I will recommend Physicians Care to family and friends. Went in today at 2:20 for a terrible migraine. The staff was wonderful as usual, the nurse took me right back did all my testing, and A.Marlin, the NP ordered my injections. The nurse gave them and I was out of there before 3:00. They provide great patient centered care. I am so glad to have them in Dalton. I recommend them to everyone who has an illness and needs to be seen quickly.

Woke up yesterday morning with what I assumed was a spider bite. Went in today and the front staff, Jenni, was warm, welcoming and quick to help me with my questions. The nurse, Gwen, was caring and efficient in getting all my information and vitals. Her bedside manner was wonderful. The nurse practitioner, Calvin, was informative and kind with explaining exactly what was wrong and what we were going to do to fix it. He was very communicative in making sure I understood the medication he was prescribing was pregnancy safe and would cause no harm to either of us.
