Horrible!!!!!!

I was greeted by a kind, friendly front desk person, Daphne. She answered my questions and showed great compassion. When I was called back by Sharron, she also was compassionate and kind. I was in tears because I was tired and hurting. She was gentle and made me feel like I was important. Next came Zack Cornett, PA. He listened, asked great questions, examined me and let me know what he felt we should do next. We are new to town and it felt so good we found such a caring, thorough place to come. We will be back

Waited forever despite pain issues and discomfort, watched them process and see client's with appointments later than mine before me. Not able to take meds given to me, but no-one would come back and address...

WARNING: This place is in the business of scamming as much money out of their patients as possible. Piedmont uses predatory pricing, and the doctors and nurses will lie to your face about it- simply put, they are not in the business of helping people, only making money. Beware. My wife visited the clinic with a sore ankle. The doctor offered an ankle brace. As my wife has had a problem in the past with being charged for a brace she didn’t need, she specifically asked the doctor if health insurance would fully cover the price of the brace, and stated that she did not want to pay for it. The doctor assured her the cost would be covered by insurance. When the nurse brought in the brace, my wife asked her again if if health insurance would completely cover it, and she stated again that she did not want to pay for it. The nurse also assured her it would be covered 100%. My wife, trusting the word of the doctor and nurse, accepted the brace. Upon receiving the bill, we were shocked to see the fee for the brace is $190, and that this fee drove our bill with Wellstreet up dramatically- so that we are, in fact, paying for the brace. I called and spoke to five different people involved with Wellstreet and Piedmont Urgent Care, and was informed by a few of them that the doctor and nurse do not know what is covered by insurance and what is not, and so should not have told her that it would be covered (even though they both did). No one I talked to was even remotely interested in helping me remedy this matter- their entire attitude was 'it doesn't matter what the doctor told you, this is the bill, pay up.' As my wife asked this specifically, and was told an untruth (and shouldn’t have been given this false information at all)… and considering the brace’s price is inflated over five times (550%) of the standard retail price ($190.00 at Piedmont, vs. the exact same brace at Amazon for $35.37), the only conclusion is that the place is a complete scam. If you read through the reviews, you can see I'm not the only one this has happened to. They obviously work this angle on a lot of their patients / victims. Go somewhere else where the practice actually cares about helping people.
