As a mother, nothing is more distressing than seeing your child unwell and needing urgent care. Our recent experience at this clinic, a place we have trusted over 20 times in the past two years, was heartbreakingly disappointing. Amidst a stressful job change, my new insurance details were pending, but coverage had started. When I explained this to the front desk, hoping for understanding, I was met with a lack of compassion. They insisted we might have to cancel our appointment unless we paid upfront, adding to our anxiety. After agreeing to pay out of our pocket, obtaining a simple invoice for insurance became a humiliating battle. The front desk staff promised to email and mail the invoice once it was ready, yet two weeks have passed with no word, leaving us unable to submit our insurance claim. Their behavior—laughing and ignoring our serious concerns while we stood worried for our child—was beyond upsetting. To contrast, we visited our pediatrician right after this incident. They allowed us to provide our insurance details once we received them, and successfully claimed for our visit afterwards without any issues. This stark difference in service and empathy has left me deeply upset and questioning the integrity of a facility that should be a safe haven in times of need. No parent should have to fight for basic decency and respect when their only concern is the well-being of their child. I will be taking further steps to ensure no other family experiences this kind of treatment.

As always, the nurses are condescending and make you feel as though you're a bad parent. Not the first time I or my husband have experienced this behavior at the Herndon location.

Very welcoming and efficient. Check-in process excellent. My son hurt his ankle pretty badly and wobbled in. They quickly got a wheelchair. X-ray tech so helpful and kind. Then checking out, great service from the nurse about his boot and crutches. High praise for front desk and all staff. Highly recommend and this will be my to go Urgent care in the future.

This was our first time at this urgent care. It was really set up for kids and everyone there was so sweet to my son. He isn't afraid of strep tests anymore because it was so painless for him. We'll definitely be back.

Generally speaking I can understand why there is an appointment system now but I also feel bc it is urgent care it is quite frustrating to not be able to be seen for like two or three hours. I’m not sure if booking an appointment through an app it is as effective as adminstration may think it is. The PM pediatric in Ashburn is closer to my home but we can never seem to get in there given the new system. If is frustrating as a parent to have to book an appointment online via an app and have to upload insurance document each time. Herndon, without fail, I can get in quicker without any wait. I do not mind driving bc overall the service is always great. The service at Ashburn, when I can get I can get in, is also superb as well. Please take this feedback into consideration. Nonetheless, I do Thank you for your service as health providers and recognize these are trying times.

The doctor who saw my son was incredibly rude and dismissive. My son was clearly very sick and she said that she would not give him an RSV test despite the fact that she said that she thought he likely had it. I have no idea why she was unwilling to provide a test, her reasons seemed completely odd and personal rather than professional. She at one point told me that she would send her child with RSV to daycare. Pretty unbelievable considering the RSV infant mortality rate. As a parent I have a right to know my child’s condition. She was gate-keeping information from me. I generally feel very positively about and grateful for healthcare workers, so to have this doctor be so inconsiderate really did not sit right with me. Don’t work in pediatrics if you are unwilling to work with concerned parents. I will not be coming back.
