I went in to the clinic because I thought my sinus infection had came back. I also had a chronic cough and labored breathing. I also had been experiencing shoulder pain for a couple of months and told him about that as well. When I explained my symptoms to the doctor he listened to my lungs and said they were fine. I told him that I had previously taken a 10 day cycle of antibiotics for a sinus infection. I told him that I felt better for a couple of days and then my symptoms came back along with discolored mucus from my sinuses. Then he looked up my nose. That was the extent of his exam and he prescribed me a stronger antibiotic. I took the antibiotic as prescribed and finished the 7 day cycle. The sinus congestion, headaches, and discolored mucus are still present. I still have an anoying cough along with labored breathing, and on top of that I am suffering from serious muscle and joint pain which after some research I found that this is one of the contraindications of the antibiotic prescribed to me. The doctor said that it may cause some mild body aches, but this is far worse than what he described. Two days after finishing the antibiotic I was barely able to walk, I was fatigued and my entire body was in extreme pain. I am still suffering with pain and fatigue and will be seeking medical treatment elsewhere for a resolution. I am in my 50's and my overall health has always been good. I am a business owner with no other employees and dealing with work while enduring this pain has put a strain on meeting my customer's needs. I am very frustrated with the exam and treatment that I received and now I am worse off then when I first went into Primary Health.
