What patients are saying...

Our day to come to this facility was February 11. It was a very busy day, but that is not, and cannot be, an excuse for our less than good experience. Our first contact was with a receptionist who seemed out of sorts for some reason. She had a mask on so may not have been feeling well herself. After checking in, we waited over two hours for my wife to be taken to an examining room with the only contact with a staff person being to collect our co-pay. Other people who came in after us were spoken to about going to lunch since the wait was over one hour. They were asked to provide a contact phone number so they could be called when their time to be seen was coming up. We had no such offer. All my wife wanted was an x-ray of her foot caused by a fall. She was in the examining room for about thirty minutes before getting the x-rays. Back in the examining room, the nurse practioner said they would rush the results because we had been there so long. Several staff came to the room after that but no report was given and we waited more than two more hours before we left without knowing much more than when we arrived about six hours earlier. The x-ray technician was just across the hall from the examining rooms and could have brought the report in short order after seeing the results. Alas, he seemed to have little going on because my wife was the only person getting x-rays, but he still could not be located by the nurse practioner to be able to tell my wife what she needed to do or not do. As busy as the place was and the staff load seemed to be, there is no excuse for the wait times without contact from the staff and no excuse for the tardiness of the x-ray tech who only had twenty feet to walk to give the results to the staff and the patient.

Sunday's have one medical person on duty. Be prepared to wait 3-4 hours as a walk-in person.
