Had an on going stomach bug that was very persistent. After seeing more than one physician at different places this was the best appointment I had.

Was feeling ill for a few days. Decided to do a telemedicine appointment. Everything was simplified for me with the wonderful and friendly assistance from staff member Migdalia at the Fort Lee, NJ location. Dr. Lee was also professional and asked me pertinent questions to both my current state of feeling and my medication allergies as I have many! She was very thorough in making sure I could tolerate the meds she was prescribing. The appt was quick but highly efficient ! I am always satisfied with the care I receive from staff and doctors at PromptMd Hoboken; and now Fort Lee, Nj..    Highly professional people!

If you're reading this review and you're not on staff, you've gone too far. If you're on staff, you're great - thanks for all you do.

Had an allergic reaction to hair dye. Scheduled first appointment at midnight, then met with doctor by 9:30 am the same day. Provided an actual diagnosis. The prescribed medications worked within 24 hours of the appointment. I did not have to travel or take time off work. It was definitely a 1, 2, 3 process.

Booked for a telemedicine in the morning at 10 but wasn't able to speak to doc until almost 4. Staff was extremely communicative about delays and trying to get me seen which was very much appreciated.... curious what the booking mechanism really should be/look like if in person takes priority of booking telemed visits

Christina the nurse practitioner was super nice and friendly. However, I have covid and she prescribed for me prednisone. This is a steroid that reduces inflammation in your body, but a side effect is that it weakens your immune system. I was on day 4-5 of covid when I checked in. She did not want to give me paxclovid bc she thought it wasn’t going to be effective, but paxlovid would have gotten rid of my covid. Instead, I’m on day 7 and getting worse. My lungs feel like they are collapsing. I read on NIH that prednisone is not safe and not recommended for treatment of outpatients.  And that the preferred recommendation is paxlovid. I finally got my hands on paxlovid but I am so afraid the damage to my lungs is done.  I’m very sad and upset I let this happen. From NIH website:  “The Panel recommends against the use of dexamethasonea or other systemic corticosteroids (), unless these agents are being used to treat an underlying condition. There is currently a lack of safety and efficacy data on the use of dexamethasone in outpatients with COVID-19. Using systemic glucocorticoids in outpatients with COVID-19 may cause harm.“ “Preferred therapies. Listed in order of preference:   Ritonavir-boosted nirmatrelvir (Paxlovid)e (). Start as soon as possible and within 5 days of symptom onset.”
