My appointment was scheduled for Saturday October 26 and for some reason I’m getting a bunch of texts that it took place three days prior. What the heck is wrong with the system?

I  was able to get an appointment very quickly for my daughter, but I did not like how fast the doctor came in, it was so fast it felt rushed. I did Not see her listen to my daughter’s lungs but the doctor claimed she did. The results of the tests she was swabbed for were “complete” in less than 10 minutes and everything was negative according to them. Their thermometer which doesn’t touch the skin said she didn’t have a fever but we got home and she did have a fever. I just hope she wasn’t misdiagnosed like it happened at the pulse MD in Mahopac.

Made an appointment online for 10am got there about 9:50am. Had about 3 people called to go in ahead of me that got there after me. So I don’t understand why we have online booking if we’re gonna take walk ins over scheduled appointments. About 10:30am rolls around I get called in a room, wait a decent amount of time in there as well finally the dr came in said we’re gonna do test. She came back in after getting results and stated that it’s just allergies even though I stated I have been having stomach issues as well she told me to go to a specialist for that. Was sent home with no medication for anything but was told if nothing resolved within 3-5 days to come back. So not only did I spend most of my time waiting around but I also got told that my stuffy nose, sore throat, cough and stomach cramps are just allergies. Waste of time, staff was friendly and kind though. Just don’t see the point of prescribing no medication but telling me if my symptoms don’t improve to come back.

I thought I dislocated my shoulder. I went in for a first morning appointment on a Saturday and was seen within five minutes. I had x-rays from a lovely male nurse. Then a physicians assistant came in and assess the mobility of my arm. He immediately got me a sling which made my arm feel much better because I didn’t have the weight of my arm, pulling on my shoulder. He assured me it was not dislocated gave me proper pain management and I was out of there within a half hour. Took me longer to get my prescription at the pharmacy! It was a great experience!

I have never felt so insulted. When I walked in I went to sign in and I spoke to the receptionist. I went through the normal process. Linda (I think was her name) the receptionist told me to have a seat so I did. As I walked away she whispered my name to the girl and then I couldn't. Take out what she said. As she said my name I spun my head around and she then turned her head to me . She was laughing till she saw my face then took a big gulp and looked very uncomfortable. HOW DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS KEEP THEIR JOBS? We are adults!! I came here for a medical reason. I didn't feel she was warm and inviting or even helpful. After this I'll never be back.

Went in for a sore throat, spent < 2 mins looking me over and gave me a rapid strep test. Told me I should just gargle. Less than 36h later I was in the ER getting IV antibiotics with a full blown infection. Very poor and lazy care.

The doctor was great. I had to wait an hour even though I scheduled online and the receptionist was a little cold that is kind as I think of receptionist should be.

I scheduled an appointment because of acute pain and swelling in my knee (without injury) and I was having difficulty walking. When I got to the location I initially booked at, they sent me to another PulseMD location (15 min away) that had imaging services. There, they took an x-ray and told me I probably tweaked it (even though I didn't report any injuries), and bandaged my knee. After no improvement, I saw an orthopedist who drained my knee (which gave me the ability to walk) and tested me. It was late stage Lyme disease. In a more ideal scenario, if PulseMD had given more consideration to my history, risk, and symptoms, I may have been able to start antibiotics sooner.
