Went back in for a follow up from 2 wks ago with a resolving sinus infection because my spouse was diagnosed with Type Flu B. Still had sore throat with body aches and congestion and was worried at being exposed to someone close with the flu. Staff was polite, easy check-in and attentive consideration of care was given.

No appointment. Just walk in. Wait time was minimal in waiting room. Longer in wait in exam room but didn’t think it too much. Dr very agreeable and good communicator.

Son rolled his ankle and was in pain. Took him to this urgent care. Not a long wait at all.  Vitals taken fairly quickly. Advised lpn of reason for visit. Waited about 30 min for Dr. He literally walked in the room and immediately stated he is ordering  ray and walked right back out! No assessment, didn’t look at my sons foot, don’t touch his foot, didn’t asses level of pain, he did nothing else!!!!! X-ray taken with lpn. 20 min after X-ray, dr walked in for all of 3 min and said he has a “bruised foot”, he needs to stay off of it. (not sure how a bruised foot could possibly be his diagnosis when he didn’t even look at my child foot, bc an X-ray doesn’t differentiate bw a bruised foot vs a sprain)!!!I advised Dr that my son attends school and absolutely cannot walk on his foot so I requested crutches. He quickly stated Medicaid will not cover crutches (which is  crazy to me bc not only did he not even check with Medicaid  but I verified with my insurance company after the fact that crutches are in fact covered)!!! I immediately requested compression ( a wrap for his ankle, which is the standard of care for this injury… RICE)  and was told that compression would not benefit him in any way! Frustrated, I replied, “Well, he can’t walk on his foot”! He cant just not go to school, he has a learning disability! The Drs response was , “I’ll get him an excuse from school for however long u need”! I 100% feel like the lack of care that my son recieved was not provided simply bc he has Medicaid and ithat was his only concern! It’s insulting bc he is entitled to the same level of care as anyone else yet he was given nothing!!!! Oh but even though not one word was spoken to us regarding his pain level, his ability to bear weight on his foot or even which side was injured, . that dr didn’t hesitate to write my 13 year old son a prescription for Toradol, not sure why he thought this was necessary as he knew nothing of my sons pain. He walked out of the room within a couple minutes. Upon leaving, never was given any education regarding his diagnosis, how to care for him, nothing! The LPN simply asked me what day I would like my son to go back to school! I spoke with Medicaid about this, and they advised me to go get a second opinion, and file a  grievance!!!! Please do not go here if you want. Good quality care.!!!

Everything was ok but the provider. After waiting over a hour, she rushed in, never introduced herself, she could’ve been a MA for all I know. Listened to my son, said he was clear and rushed out. May have been in the room for a total of 60 seconds. I would never recommend this provider and I would never want anyone in my family to see her again

Very impressed with Dr. McElroy and her staff this is a follow-up visit to have sutures removed I may have been there 20 minutes total nothing but smiles and kindness they make you feel at home and talk to you as a person and not a patient. Would recommend this to my friends and family. Keep up the good work

The staff were kind, helpful and the service was fast. The entire process, from checking in to leaving, was pleasant. They understood my situation and were able to resolve it as well as direct me to another doctor for a follow up.
