DO NOT GET YOUR COVID BOOSTER SHOT HERE. REPEAT -- DO NOT GET COVID TESTING HERE. This Rite Aid is Dangerous. It is Poorly Managed. Here Are 6 Reasons to Stay Away from this Rite Aid. 1). Their pharmacy staff is grossly understaffed and sloppy and puts your health at risk (Do not trust them with administering Covid drugs). 2). They DO NOT abide by your scheduled appointment times. If you made any appointment, they will ignore the time, and make you stand in a line -- often for more than an hour, to get your Covid shot. 3). Their management of intake forms, paper applications, records and ID cards is so reprehensible as to imperil your test results and expose you to the possibility of a mistaken identity. Do not run the risk. 4). Their staff is completely UN-MANAGED. Hence the front of the store has no communication with the back of the store; there is no customer service; virtually no product knowledge, and indeed, no capacity to answer any questions or concerns you might have about getting the Covid booster and/or flu shot separately or together, or in combination with any other medication or food you might have taken. 5). If you register a complaint with them, instead of trying to address your concerns, they will argue with you. What kind of store does that? Like I said, no management whatsoever! No oversight! The pharmacist, if even qualified, is truly an amateur. 6). They engage out-sourced nurses who are not pre-vetted instead of training their own pharmacy staff to administer the Covid vaccine as permitted by law. In so doing, they compound their staffing and scheduling nightmares by never knowing who will be showing up to give the vaccines, never knowing if or when they'll be available, and never knowing how long they'll be available to work. In this respect, they have no employer-employee control over these independent contractors. Thus, the long lines of people who sign up for booster shots and flu shots unaware that Rite Aid staff is not really giving them the shot at all, but rather external contractors who Rite Aid cannot control. ONLY COME TO RITE AID IF YOUR HEALTH IS NOT IMPORTANT TO YOU, AND IF YOU WISH TO STAND IN LINE FOR LENGTHY PERIODS OF TIME.
