The doctor here prescribed me, a college student, a $100 antibiotic and then when I called back to change it to a cheaper prescription, he said he couldn't because my case had been closed. My mother and I had to call repeatedly to get it changed and he was very rude. This visit was 2 years ago, and I am writing a review now because I was just now made aware of a bill for $13 that could've gone to collection and somehow didn't. This is the worst urgent care I have ever been to.

Receptionist extremely rude. Blatantly disrespectful and condescending. Provider Bruce Prive has no bedside manner or interpersonal skills when dealing with the public

If I could give these people a Negative 5 I would. They’re extremely disorganized. They told me one thing and then told me they couldn’t do what they said. A positive covid test and they gave me no recommendations for what to do at home. Bruce Prive was my provider and his lack of compassion is awful. I understand everyone is burnt out these days but this is absolutely unacceptable and I would be embarrassed for this to be my business. Their staff is rude as anyone I have ever seen, and she talks to the provider like he is an idiot. If anyone ever talked to me the way she talked to him there would not be a good outcome. The provider then got on the phone and told me that they would bring me my results “when they found them”, meaning you lost my results????! EXTREMELY dissatisfied, will not be back and will not recommend to a SINGLE PERSON, EVER.

So I’m pretty disappointed with our service today! I understand that covid has changed everything now but, my daughter is sick with treatable symptoms and she wasn’t even looked at. I understand that most cold/flu symptoms mimic covid, but children are still sick and I feel like they are just being tested for covid and then sent on their way. After testing negative for covid, she should have been treated like any other patient that needed medical attention. She is also fully vaccinated from covid, so I felt the test in the first place was really just cautionary. There are so many other viruses and infections that kids pick up. Her peds office won’t see her because of covid and her type of symptoms and since you are an urgent care facility first, I assumed she would at least be looked at for her symptoms. Is it not standard practice anymore to examine a sick patient and try to treat them. I don’t feel like I should have to take my sick child to the er, because although she feels bad, she’s not life threatening and that’s what emergency rooms are for. SMUC let my sick miserable daughter down as a patient and failed to do their jobs professionally and responsibly.

My only interaction was with the woman who answered the phone. She was so rude and unprofessional. There is just no excuse to talk to people like that.
