St Francis Regional Medical Center Urgent Care: BE WARE! They charge you Emergency Room prices for their Urgent Care!!! I went in for a really bad sore throat in the middle of the night. I got seen right away is the only good thing about this visit. I went into their Urgent Care. I had taken 3 covid tests before coming, all negative, and told the Dr. He scheduled another anyways plus other Labs charging me $867. Then found nothing so was given a medication to numb my throat that was it. Got charged $695. for EMERGENCY ROOM!!! I went into URGENT CARE there!!! I tried to dispute the charges. Asking why a "ED Lvl 3 charge that is Urgent to be seen. Instead of being a way less charge Level 5 for Non-Urgent.... But was denied! Level 5 Non-Urgent would have been hundreds of dollars less. But they would not change the code or charge! I also recieved a bill first of around $300.00 first that I paid immediately thinking that was the total bill.... But no then I got the insane bill for $1,634 later for a sore throat and some numbing medication after going to St Frances Urgent Care but charged for there EMERGENCY ROOM ! I will never go there ever again! BE WARE!!!

Everybody at this place is pissed off. St Francis is nothin but a bunch of disgruntled angry employees from the Security Guard opening the door all the way to the nurse and doc who treated me. I went into the ER involving a private body part, I was very sick and the treatment I received from the Nurse was so demeaning, abrupt and cruel. She showed no sensitivity to my condition as you'd expect any health care professional examining and handling private body areas.. I was jabbed and probed and left laying on a table with something inserted in me for what I thought was a good 40 minures. The nurse mumbled something I didn't understand, got up quickly and walked out. She moved so quick I didn't even have time to say "what was that"? I took it that she needed something or someone to assist and assumed she was coming right back. Fitnally she came back, abrupty pulled the device out of me and said the Doctor will be in shortly. I was too sick and weak to fight or complain at the time of the demeaning treatment, I waited till I felt better and I called over the patient service representative and opened and investigation to this issue. I was extended a sincere aplogy and told of the improvements to be made. If you've been mistreated at any health care facilitY whatever the reason big or small, take a stand and fight, stand up for your medical rights but make sure you do it over the phone, never at a clinic or hospital. BUYER BEWARE: Doctors have a new weapon they use that protects them from accountabiltiyy and malpractice when a patient complains or questions their medical treatment they receive, it's called POLICE. One quick call to 911 and your Doctor will have you forced without say to a psych facility for evaluation until a doctor decides you can leave. It could be over night or 1 week. This is no joke, it's real and happening everywhere. Doctor/Patient confidentiality is gone Doctor/Police confidentiality is now. Health Care has gone down in Minnesota. This part of the US was always known as having excellent health care. Not anymore. It's only getting worse unless we the people the consumer take a stand. St Francis hospital is the complete opposite of what the real original Saint Francis was about.. He was kind and gentle to wildlife.. His interaction with animals that showed no natural human fear toward him is the miracles that made him a saint. His name thru out history is remembered and used as a renminder to people to show and extend that same lovee and compassion to other humans, as well as animals. I'm not trying to push off religion on anybody, I'm just making a point. Hope this review helps someone.
