I’m very happy to see that Huntsville Hospital is offering telemedicine, Very disappointed to see that the visit fee is not processed through insurance. The $70 charge is not reasonable and should not be a burden to customers (patients) because the contractor has not done something. Thank you for the progress in patient care but please take time to completely handle your business.

I have had chest and sinus congestion for 6-7 days and I was taking OTC medication to try and clear them but it didn't go away and stayed green. So I wasn't able to get an appointment with my PC and decided to try Telemed through Huntsville Hospital's SOLV app. I was able to get an appointment and was seen just 2 hours later. The nurse practitioner was kind and expedited the office visit quickly. I had my medicine by 2pm that day and started the Z Pack and cough syrup. My cough was also keeping me up at night. Anyway, I took the medicines and got a good night's sleep and am feeling better today. I recommend this service and HH urgent care to everyone, my husband even went there. Thank you 😊

I woke up this morning and made a 9 o’clock telehealth appointment. After waiting in the virtual waiting room for one hour, I proceeded to call the clinic in person. The receptionist said that my appointment was canceled and she didn’t understand why I didn’t know that. I told her I had been in the virtual waiting room for an hour. She sent me to another clinic where 20 minutes later a doctor got on the phone to see me.

I had an extreme sore throat and had been exposed to walking pneumonia so I went in to the clinic but realized it would be a very long wait so I chose the option of a telemedicine appointment later that day. Since it was a holiday weekend it was very busy. I had to wait for about 40 minutes after the scheduled time but it was okay since I was sick I wasn’t going anywhere. My only issue with this visit is being charged $70  when my insurance policy does not have any co-pay charges. That charge should be refunded.
