No issues with getting my appointment scheduled, however I did wait 30mins past the scheduled time before I was contacted by staff about payment. I was informed that the appointment was subject to a $70 flat rate fee that was not subject to insurance despite my insurance having a $30 copay for telemedicine visits. Verbatim: “The $70 is for the telemedicine, your insurance will not be able to reimburse you for the difference, all telemedicine visit are a flat rate of $70.” Aside from the payment issues, there was difficulty with video and the provider contacted me over the phone. My issue was a poison ivy rash and was prescribed a prednisone pack as expected easily and smoothly.

Really annoyed I had to pay a $70 copay just for the dr to tell me I needed to come in. A) I didn’t have $70 to pay and had I known I would’ve went somewhere else. B) since I was told I needed to be seen in person, the copay should’ve gone to that or be offered to come in without additional cost. We literally talked for maybe 5-6mins.

Woke up with COVID like symptoms Got a telemedicine appt same day. Was prescribed upper respiratory medication, told to isolate and can take a home Covid test. But only schedule if my symptoms don’t improve or get worse. The home Covid test was positive but that’s not included in my medical file.  I will schedule another telemedicine appt
