March 23rd 2024 cir. 11 am MST Lab Nurse name: Renal Manager name: Kasey Chandler The scheduled urgent visit and lab visit was canceled after I left. The lab nurse snapped and yelled at me. ‘Don’t tell me how to do my job!’ after I asked her to insert the needle at an angle because my vein is at an angle and it will not draw blood properly if its straight. It will be painful and leave a bruise when they move it while in my arm fishing for the vein. She started yelling and giving me attitude instantly! She called me crazy and yelled for security. Look who’s talking! Big tall security almost bum rushed me! The manager didn’t care about anything that happened! Good luck if you ever end up here with these abusive clowns! When I came in today around 11 am for urgent care and labs they said I should do urgent care first because there was ‘no wait’. Instead, I waited over 25mins in the lobby and over 30mins in the doctor's room. I left without seeing the doctor. I have another doctor's appointment elsewhere so I couldn’t waste more time. I went to the front desk to get my labs done instead. I thought it would be simple and easy. When they called my name into the labs the nurse was going to put the needle in my arm straight, I asked her please put it at an angle my vein is at an angle. She gave me instant attitude and told me ‘Don’t tell me how to do my Job!’ It escalated quickly she said ‘don’t touch your arm!’ with attitude as I was trying to show her where to put the needle. I asked the other nurse if they could do it they didn’t say anything and just shrugged. I said I’m done I can’t deal with your attitude and started to leave, I asked for her name and tried to take a picture of her badge. She screamed at me ‘DONOT TAKE A PICTURE!’ I deleted it in front of the manager, it was blurry anyways and I was able to jot down her name on my notepad app before I forgot. I’m not good with names and don't remember them well, that's why I wanted to take a picture of her badge so I could report her. I remember incidents like these for a very long time but the names are hard to remember for me, especially after some time. She even yelled ‘SECURITY! at me while I was leaving and called me crazy in front of the manager and everyone in the lobby! Projecting much? She’s the crazy one and needs to be fired! Nothing was done! The manager even took her side and said most veins are not at an angle. That's a very ignorant thing to say even if true he shouldn’t be arguing and taking her side. It's not about the vein or trying to take a picture of her badge anymore at that point. It was about her attitude, unprofessionalism, and the manager's discriminatory selective ignorance! I want to file a complaint against the manager too. The manager said she needed ‘retraining'. You can’t retrain that! She needs to be fired! She needs to see a shrink and be put on meds! She shouldn’t be working with the public if she can just snap like that over a simple request! I know good nurses and bad nurses. The good ones always know how to poke your vein just right. This one not only didn’t know but gave me instant attitude! I wasn’t about to let her hurt me physically and bruise my arm for weeks on top of that! She already abused me verbally! There was another nurse a few months ago who put the needle in my vein straight at this location. She had to twist the needle into the angle my vein was going to get blood! Which hurt so much and left a bruise for a week! But she didn’t have an attitude so I let it go. Unlike the nurse with an attitude today! When she yelled for security the big tall security guy started rushing at me! It was a very traumatic experience for me, I was hyperventilating and shaking I could barely speak to the manager properly I had to catch my breath.   I wish everyone involved could get fired not ‘retraining’ because that rarely fixes their permanent dysfunctional way of thinking and behaviors! This was unacceptable and unfortunately not the first time I experienced this at your hospital and clinics.   I had a colonoscopy at your south jordan health center, I just came out of the or to my room and was asking for a pain pill because the doctor and staff were really rough on me during the egd/colonoscopy. They were playing loud music in the OR very unprofessional. The nurse didn't believe I was in pain and threw a water cup at me! I complained and she got fired because it wasn't the first time she did that to a patient! If they can get away with this type of behavior multiple times, imagine what other things they’ve done and will do! Please get them removed from the public immediately!

I went in for a sinus infection. Was told to do sinus rinse and use a nasal spray. I had been doing that for 2 days already and it didn't help. Today my sinus infection is worse and my face is swelling. In my opinion PA's do not know what they are doing and should not be allowed to treat patients. I have delt with allergies which often lead to sinus infections for 20 years. The PA that I saw last night did not take the time to learn this. I have also had sinus infections lead to cellulitis of the face before. I use Azalastin and flonase as well as zyrtec as needed. I also do sinus rinse when I start having problems. I was instructed by my allergist to see my primary care doctor when these things did not work. I called my primary care doctor and couldn't get an appointment until January. They told me to go to urgent care - what a waste of time that was.
