The staff is good and it is good experience with doctor

Staff was attentive and kind and made us feel well taken care of. Listened to my input and concerns. Service was quick and it was easy to make an appointment.

Brandi was the NP that helped us today. She was so educational to us and friendly to our son. Staff let him be a toddler while giving him great care. We keep coming back to this place when our kiddo doesn’t feel good because they’re so kind and quick. 10/10 would always recommend.

Baby boy had a high fever and pain on throat and left ear, I was able to schedule an appointment right away. The dr and staff were very kind and we left with medicine on hand. Dr explained treatment really well and gave us good advise.

My child is 10 years and diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. This is the second time where the staff came off rude, not understanding and not being able to handle special needs. I’ve been to Urgent care kids Plano& The Colony and have had great experiences. They seem to not talk to the child at all in instances where they want to check breathing or ears and want parents to hold them. The NP actually said she is scared the child may hurt her ! They expect that a sick child sits quiet, abides with everything they say. I’d be surprised if neuro-typical kids would be like that during sickness, let alone a special needs child. Very disappointed and would really not consider going to them ever in the future.

Staff had an emergency situation to deal with. Instead of reaching out and asking patients to reschedule to a later time, the patients had to wait.  Our wait time was 2 and half hours.  The staff was not sympathetic towards the waiting parties nor was the doctor.  There were better ways to handle today, maybe they need training on how to recover after this type of situation.

The whole team at this office are just wonderful!!!  Thank you for helping me to take care of my grandson!  Keep up the great work!

They were quick and very kind. It was easy getting everything sorted as a first time patient and my baby was very excited she got to pick out a ducky to keep after everything.

So easy to schedule an appt! The staff was so nice and friendly! They were very professional and timely. They listened to every thing I had to say, they explained everything easily, and we were in and out so fast! We'll always choose McKinney Urgent Care for Kids!
