Woke up with another sore throat after having a bad head cold. Seemed that I was feeling increasingly congested. I got online and this was the only place open in our area. Scheduling the appointment and checking in was a breeze. My appt was at 3 and I saw the nurse practitioner at 4. The place was busy with people with the same illness that I had. I was diagnosed with sinus infections and given 2 shots and 2 prescriptions. By the evening I was beginning to already feel better.

The wait time was not that bad considering how much sickness is going on. The check-in was easy, the nurse, Melissa, was kind and thorough and Dr A listened to my concerns. She was knowledgeable about my health condition that impacts what meds I can take and was careful to prescribe the right things.

Checked in for my scheduled save my spot appt at 2:52. Appt was at 3:00. Name was removed from the live waitlist at 3:40. Watched everyone who walked in go back. Asked if I was skipped. The lady at check in said no they put my name on a room and we’re about to call me back. Kept watching walk ins go ahead of me. Asked again and they somehow did skip me. They called me back finally and they skipped triage. Just put me in a room. Nurse came in and said it was her fault. She didn’t  know what happened. Long story short I didn’t get to leave until 5 pm. Visit by provider was short. Normally I don’t have a problem with wait time but today was bad. Even for a busy day.
