I took my mom to 777 E Santa Clara clinic to see her primary doctor. Her PCP put an Urgent order for X-Ray to find the reason for her severe pain. We stopped at Radiology. The clerk was at break and there was a sign to go to Urgent care to register. I took my mom to Urgent Care and talked to Barbara Celaya and handed her the order summery. She was confused about the order and the location of X- Ray and asked me if X- Ray is from pelvic or Cervical. I explained to her that I am not sure and it should be on the paper. She got upset, handed me back my papers, REFUSED to register my mom. I was shocked. Asked her to talk to her supervisor. She told me that she is the supervisor. Then she called security and told them that she has a difficult patient and wanted them to come to take me out. She Refused to give me her last name. She Ordered another staff to not help me and not give me her information. I am a health care professional and have never seen such an unprofessional behavior. If she hates her job, maybe someone else needs to take that position. If she did not like me because of my Race, is another issue. Because of her terrible behavior, my mom's treatment is delayed. And this is not right. And no one should be going through this. Is not patient's fault if the order is not clear. My mom did not placed the order. She could call the PCP and clarify with her. She dose not have right to REFUSE to care for a patient. I will take this matter to higher up and I would like to talk to someone from this clinic.
