They are nice people but have no idea what they’re doing. We brought our 19 month old here for a full body rash. They told us he had a double ear infection so we got amoxicillin and prescribed us steroids for the rash. The next day we ended up bringing him to the hospital and they confirmed that he in fact did not have any ear infection so the amoxicillin was extremely unnecessary and they prescribed him 2.5mL of the steroids instead of what he needed.. 9.8mL.

I waited 4 1/2 hours to be seen. Once i got to my room i waited another half hour to be seen by the doctor, i was getting a pcr because i had been exposed to covid from work, i’ve been tested MULTIPLE times at this facility the nurses have always been the one to test me but today i got the actual doctor, she told me how the test goes and went to start (i have multiple nose piercings and an extremely high pain tolerance) she shoved the swab in my nose so hard my vision went super blurry and i felt a lot of pain i kept backing away and telling her to stop and she kept pushing it in farther i could've probably reached in my mouth and pulled it out from my throat. the male nurse came in to do my other nostril and i didn’t move or feel any pain. the swab only needs to go 3/4 of an inch she went all the way up my nasal cavity. i explained to him what happened and he apologized and saw me out the door. this urgent care is not very urgent you’d have better luck going to the ER. they have gone wayyyyy downhill over the past years..

This Urgent Care is extremely well run with great medical providers. The wait time is never long and they always take the time to address your questions and concerns. I’d highly recommend this Urgent Care! Dia is also takes his time to make sure you are well cared for. Great job Van Buren Urgent Care!

Dr.Deua. Abdelbaki., was attentive and ee appreciate his care as he helped to save our lives when my family battled Covid-19

I would like to personally thank Deya Abdelbaki for being so great at what he does. I honestly believe that his career is his calling. I never typically write reviews, but I felt the need to make sure that the entire staff gets some recognition for what a great job they all do. I would definitely recommend that if you are ever in need of medical attention to check them out for sure.

I moved to Michigan late last year and have several long standing health issues. Recently my symptoms became much worse, while most medical facilities and primary cares weren't seeing even their regular patients in person during this covid pandemic, the staff at Van Buren Urgent Care did. During my visit I felt safe and that the staff really cared. All of my concerns were addressed and I received a prompt follow up call with the results of my blood tests. The wait time was short and the staff knowledgeable and caring. Thank you Van Buren Urgent Care.

Have been here several times in the past but today’s experience was uncalled for... Nasser checked me in at the front desk and I gave him my Ins card and he supposedly verified my insurance and said it was inactive while I explained to him my new insurance became effective June 1 2020 . He was very rude and said I had to pay $75 upfront before being seen (which my copay is only $60 for urgent care visits) but i was in aloe of pain so I paid it and after the Dr seen me on my way out I showed him my BCBS card again with the copy of my policy that said active as of June 1, 2020 and also made sure to tell him again that i was active and he said no I verified it with BCBS and your policy isn’t active. I then came home called BCBS and they said my policy was active and they would call and speak to Nasser while I held on the other line to se what was going on. After BCBS spoke with Nasser , she asked if he had checked the policy and he said yes but... he was verifying the old BCBS that was in the computer not the new card that was given to him not only once but twice. So because he argued the fact of not having insurance and made me pay the full visit because he DID NOT DO HIS JOB, I was charged out of pocket instead of being charged my co-pay!!

My Grandson and I were on vacation and I caught a bad case of the flu, but the good doctor helped me get back on my feet and kicking again.

They treated me quickly and attended the hook in my thumb quickly. Would strongly recommend!
