This is a difficult review to write because by and large Veritas is great place to get quick quality care from a runny nose to a broken leg. The staff is nice, kind, and listen. Dr Hatemi especially is patient, has a good bedside manner, listens to his patients, provides excellent care. Dr. Clark, however, is the opposite. He is overconfident, arrogant, does not listen to patient feedback, and will steamroll/railroad over your concerns to do what he feels is best, regardless of patient experience. One of our kids came in with a sinus infection, and we asked the nurse and the doctor not to prescribe liquid augmenten (amox-clav) for her, because the taste is so foul she won't take it. Well, Dr. Clark prescribed it anyway. We called back to let them know that an error was made, and they responded by telling us to flavor the medicine. I spoke with Dr Clark, and explained that wasn't going to work, and that he really needed to listen to his patients, especially the parents of his patience, and he hung up on me. He is also obsessed with prescribing ipratropium nasal spray, to the point I wonder if he's getting kickbacks from the pharmaceutical company for it. I tried explaining to him that the side effects, for me, are more uncomfortable than the symptoms its trying to relieve, and instead of providing an alternate treatment option, he refused to leave the examination room until I promised I would take the nasal spray. Dr. Hatemi, I hope you read these, because this guy is giving your practice a black mark. If not for him this would be a 5 star review, because everyone else on staff is great. But this guy is so bad we're going to stop going to Veritas.

They are very good at what they do. They are fast and attentive. They will always be my first choice.

Awful place to come for health care. I probably have COVID by now just sitting in their little tiny waiting room with a bunch of sick people and zero social distancing, zero hand sanitizer, and when they say 1st come 1st served they mean 1st black/brown served, whitey can wait.

This was the best experience we've ever had with doctors and all the supporting personnel. I can't even begin explaining how great they all are. We have sent more people from Kershaw county then I can count. No treatment in KC for Covid, just take something over the counter. Veritas was an answer to prayers for so many people. A big shout out and thank you. Ya'll are a blessing.

Went to get a covid test...the most irresponsible setup I have ever seen. If I didn't have covid, I probably do now. No social distancing, packed into the waiting room, not enforcing masks. I asked if we could wait outside... They said they would have no way of calling us back. Have they ever heard of cellphones????? Terrible situation. People getting covid tested should wait outside in their cars!!!!!!

Only one Hand sanitizer dispenser and it was empty. While I was in A person walked in checking about rtpcr test expressed having symptoms. She touched doors pushiing in and out. It’s hard to believe a health care facility conducting Covid tests not having hand sanitizer.
