Misdiagnose: The process of getting and appointment at the Walgreens Healthcare Clinic is Chesterfield was easy and because it was close to my house I thought this would be best to take care of my needs instead of going to my health care doctor. January 27th I had started with a runny nose head cold that started to become a sinus infection. I know this and understand the symptoms because I always get one of these at least once every year and in the past I tried many over the counter meds and home remedies and it usually take about 3 to 4 weeks to finally get over it. On January 29th during my exam at the Walgreens Healthcare Clinic, they examined me and they were only willing to give me over the counter med and suggesting home remedies, some that I have taken before. I accepted there request but I knew it would not help me and only a matter of a day or two I would have a full blown sinus infection. The morning of January 31th I was coughing up yellow phlegm and my sinus was full of the very same thing. That day I made one more attempt to see the physician at Walgreens Healthcare Clinic Chesterfield. I explained my symptoms and he explain that the over the counter med they provide will need three days to run its course. As I explained to with the first physician that the only way to fight my bacterial infection was and antibiotic again he was not willing to prescribe. I realize that I just need to see my doctor at BJC Medical Group. They got me in the say day January 31st and they confirmed that I did have a bacterial infection and prescribe Amoxicillin-clavulanate. I have realized now I will not waste my time or money to go to the Walgreens Healthcare Clinic in Chesterfield. I will go to my doctor at BJC Medical Group. JimG
