What patients are saying...

Don’t go there if you can avoid it! It took me over a year to get reimbursement for a Covid test that I paid for. Constant calling, writing letters, calls to Medicare and my insurance company were necessary to get my money back fourteen months later. I stood outside in a foot of snow waiting for a thirty second nose swab and was charged for a fifteen to thirty minute visit with a doctor! If this is what all their Covid test patients experience it sounds like fraud to me, on a grand scale.

Disgusting attitudes along with no respect; I’ve never met more racist women living in Upstate New York. Staff provided false information on Covid-19 testing & was denying us a test due to not having the money in cash. To my understanding, Covid-19 testing should be free with most insurances, but she was trying to have us pay $250 for one. I overheard her & the coworker beside her talking about trying to pocket the money as well. I visited this clinic on Monday, January 10th at around 11am, & again at the same time on Wednesday, January 12th. When I went back on Wednesday, the same worker on Monday was at the desk, & she told me that this clinic didn’t provide testing, although when I had visited on Monday; she told me that they did. I don’t understand why she would do any of this besides racism, not getting the cash her & her coworker wanted to pocket, or she was just too lazy to do her job. She was no help in the SLIGHTEST, & due to her false information, I had to travel to Syracuse just to get a test done. In conclusion, I would never visit this place again because of how malicious the staff is towards patients. Everyone working on these days/times at the front desk of the Primary Urgent Care in Herkimer should not be working in a health setting if they have issues with people of color. Get better staff, because I now understand why the Urgent Cares in Utica get packed, yet the ones down there don’t. It’s your staff. Please take that into consideration. I’m never one to write a review, but this was the worst experience I’ve had anywhere.
