If an in-center visit is needed for testing or in-person care the Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care team helps patients schedule a visit to the center, all billed under the same visit.

Prescription for antibiotic was never sent to my pharmacy from yesterday. I called pharmacy repeatedly repeatedly throughout the day and had to call back physicians one this morning. Still waiting for prescription!! This was egregious!!!

I scheduled a telehealth call 15 min before the time Ave was having difficulties getting in. I received two phones from the office and we agreed to speak over the phone.

I never usually have issues with urgent care but the provider I was matched with today for my virtual call wasn’t helpful. I was explaining my symptoms and situation and she came off rude about it. Then, I was trying to ask about the medication she was prescribing me and she didn’t properly answer any of my questions or explain what the medication was for and how it would help treat my current symptoms. She only said it was a decongestant. It was like a 4 minute call. When I got to the pharmacy to pick it up, I realized she had given me a drowsy medication that’s meant for coughs, which I prefer not to take medication that makes me feel drowsy, and I don’t even have a cough. I am not going to take the medication, so I am simply left with resting and drinking water. I will be coming back to urgent care if my symptoms pursue, and hope for a better experience next time. I would like to give this provider the benefit of the doubt by saying that she was probably busy or something. Thank you.
