After a careless kitchen incident resulting in a finger injury I was kindly attended to by the staff at PhysicianOne Urgent Care in Southbury. Jamie was an exceptional PA and had a great bedside manner. In the event that I would need to return to an Urgent Care clinic, I would certainly return to this one.

The staff was friendly and generally competent. Despite arriving early for my appointment time, I had to wait for more than an hour past my appointment time to be seen. People who arrived after me were taken in before me. When I arrived there was only one other appointment before me - and I still had a tremendous wait. The process was frustrating and I could not tell what was happening.

Fantastic quick service, caring PA Ken Watkins plus friendly efficient staff is a winning combo! Two staff members brought a wheelchair to my car to aid my entrance & exit! Above & beyond service! Very impressed on first visit!

This was my first visit as a patient. It was 82 degrees when I arrived today. I had been sick all week & called for help! Two staff members came out with a wheelchair & immediately wheeled me into an examining room. PA Ken Watkins was as warm, friendly & knowledgable as the rest of the staff. I was given a Covid test (negative) & a chest x-ray, which showed I had CAP, Community Acquired Pneumonia in both lungs! An antibiotic & cough syrup we’re called into the pharmacy. A really great experience when I was feelin so I’ll! I highly recommend Southbury Urgent Care! Alice M. Hoxie

I was having an allergic reaction and the staff was prompt with treatment and because I was by myself they kept me for about 45 minutes after initial treatment to make sure I was ok.

It’s important to make an appointment before you go but if you find yourself there without one, you’ll first have to fill out the initial form. Then ask if they can make you an appointment - just in case (the day I went, there was as one scheduled every 7 minutes, but things happen! I waited only about an hour having arrived just before one o’clock. To be safe I asked for an appointment and she had me down around 4:30, so, you never know…..The nurse was great and so was the doctor, both personable and efficient without giving me the feeling I was being rushed or “processed”. They ease my mind.

The doctor we saw was patient, kind, and very empathetic in treating my 95 year old mother. She had a cut on her leg and was worried about infection. He spent a lot of time with us and provided reassurance that my mother needed. Excellent experience!

I had a Telehealth appointment because the line was too long and I thought I was going to puke in the waiting room so I waited an hour and a half to meet with a doctor online. He diagnosed me with a sinus infection, but when I threw up the meds I knew something was wrong. Sure enough I just tested positive for the flu.
