I woke up with symptoms of strep throat and was able to make an appointment for early the next day. When I was seen I was told “i don’t think you have strep” and was never given a strep throat test to actually confirm if I had it or not. But was then told “I’m going to prescribe you antibiotics for strep and sinus infection anyways to be safe” I felt like I wasted $100 since I never got a test to confirm anything and then was just given antibiotics that I may not even need

There were some issues with providers today, so wait times were extremely long (3.5 hours for me to be seen); however, everyone I interacted with was kind and apologetic and it doesn't seem like a frequent issue. Once I was seen it only took about 15 minutes to get everything figured out and have a prescription written.
