About Dr. Andrea Johnson, MD
Dr. Johnson is the co-founder of Total Women’s Health & Wellness Center in Decatur and Hillandale , Georgia and has been providing compassionate care to women for over 30 years. Dr. Johnson is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist and a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist . Her practice is currently devoted to gynecology only since 2017. She received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Johnson was an associate professor at Morehouse School of Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology . Under Morehouse School of Medicine she continued to serve the underserved as part of the attending faculty at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia for 10 years before entering private practice. Dr. Johnson continues to prioritize improving women’s gynecological health through minimally invasive care, targeting health issues such as abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, annual exams, menopausal symptoms, contraceptive choices, use of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, infertility work-ups . She strives to provide quality , considerate care for every patient.
