Quick and easy online booking, friendly staff and providers, and got me on my way with a Paxlovid scrip in less than an hour from the time I walked in. Plus, this seems to be an independent group (only 2 other locations in Chicagoland) rather than a big chain, which is always a plus to me. Would recommend.

Getting Tested for STDs in Chicago, IL

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or are not consistently using protection. Even if you are in a monogamous relationship, it's still important to get tested. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs, including young people aged 15-24, men who have sex with men, and individuals with a history of STDs.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for your health and the health of your partners. Many STDs have no symptoms, so you may not know you have one. If left untreated, STDs can lead to serious health problems, such as infertility, cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Early detection through testing allows for effective treatment and can prevent these complications.
