It’s imperative to support what’s needed to re-open the country, so when we had the opportunity to work with Michigan on addressing their ambitious COVID testing goals of creating a go-to online testing website and increasing statewide testing capacity, we knew we could help.

Today, we’re proud to announce our innovative partnership with the State of Michigan to power online registration for neighborhood testing sites in an effort to dramatically expand the state’s testing capabilities in communities disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The State of Michigan has seen more than 100,000 COVID cases since the pandemic began in March and while new cases have plateaued in the state in recent weeks, Michigan continues to work aggressively to introduce new solutions to support a comprehensive statewide testing strategy that remains central to Michigan reopening safely.
“Expanding access to testing will help us protect ourselves, our families, and the brave men and women on the front lines of this crisis. That’s why it’s so important that MDHHS is leading the charge to enable widespread testing across the great state of Michigan, using Solv’s innovative technology,” said Michigan Governor Gretchen Witmer. “Our goal is to remove as many barriers as possible to ensure COVID-19 testing is accessible for all Michiganders. Solv provides a comprehensive solution to COVID testing which is essential as we work toward that goal and prepare for flu season.”
The first batch of neighborhood testing sites are now live and we’ll be launching more over the coming weeks. These neighborhood sites bring the capacity to do up to 4,000 COVID-19 tests per day into communities across the state such as Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Warren, and many more–including to areas where people may not have previously had a convenient or free testing option available during this critical time. In addition to the neighborhood site, more than 330 testing sites across the state–ranging from retail pharmacies, urgent care clinics, health systems, dedicated testing pop-up sites, and state sponsored sites– will have the option to use the Solv platform. We’ll bring on additional testing capacity over the coming weeks and into the fall.
