Excellent, prompt care.  I exercise, go to the gym and walk with a neighborhood walking group most days.  Very active!  Think tripped on rug in hallway….fell on hard tile floor!  Cut on forehead with lots of bleeding.  Immediately drove to IM Health as I am a patient at IM Health.  Only waited a few minutes to be seen by Dr Reilly.  He was wonderful ( as was NP).  Very caring, explained everything well, took great care of the cut near my eye.  Gave me follow up instructions.  He explained the protocol of having a CT Scan if a ‘head injury’ after age 65 so my daughter and I left after visit and went to Paoli Hospital where I had CT scan which was fortunately completely normal. My family and I have been to IM Health Urgent Care many times and have always been pleased.  Fortunate to have Urgent Care so near my home.   Many thanks to Dr Reilly!

I have a cough that did not respond to medication. Urgent care took me asap. They took an X-ray and found I have pneumonia in my left lung. They ordered a regiment of antibiotics to take immediately. I have all my trust in my urgent care. Hannah took my vitals and Nicole saw me and ordered the X-ray and medication. These ladies are God send. They really take care of you.

Wilmington Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get chlamydia, but the infection is more common in some groups. Women under 25 years of age, men who have sex with men, and individuals with multiple sexual partners or those who don’t use condoms regularly should get tested annually. It's also recommended for pregnant women to get tested, as chlamydia can cause complications during pregnancy and can be passed on to the baby during childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for chlamydia is crucial as it often has no symptoms, leading to it being undiagnosed and untreated. This can result in serious health problems, including pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men, both of which can cause infertility. Moreover, chlamydia increases the risk of contracting other sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. Early detection through testing allows for effective treatment, typically a course of antibiotics, which can prevent these complications.
