I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

I have been treated at Med Stop quit a few times in the last 15 years. Yes waiting time can be a little long sometimes, but the courtesy is very good and treatment was exceptional.

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

Quick and informative response to email inquiries, relatively easy to schedule a test, quick and thorough testing. They could not have been more helpful.

- Verified patient on 6/10

Very smart abs well organized process. Very little human interaction as they come to you in your car. The test was not uncomfortable in the least! If if doubt if you need a test go get it. Ut takes more time driving there than the test itself!

- Verified patient on 5/20

It could not have been easier to book my appointment online and then drive right up and receive immediate service. Everyone was very nice and were quick and efficient with my rapid test.

- Verified patient on 2/19

Quick, took all of 5 minutes from the time I pulled up took the test and left. Staff was really nice as well

- Verified patient on 2/10

Everything was 5 star. The “staff” was working very hard to accommodate many people waiting in cars; they were polite, friendly and professional. I had an appointment, however, people were taken in the order of when they arrived which was just fine with me. I think the staff did an excellent job with many people, each one with different needs. I was there to get a Covid test for a surgical procedure this Saturday.

- Verified patient on 3/23

The actual experience was great, my feedback is for Solv. Two recommendations: (1) add the price of the test services to the website and appointment confirmation email (2) add some instructions to the check in screen “park in a spot close to the testing site and wait in your car until someone comes to check you in.”

- Verified patient on 2/15

This was a very quick and easy experience. The nurses and assistants were professional, attentive, caring, gentle, and reassuring. We’re glad we chose to get tested and especially at this location. Thank you to these wonderful men and women.

- Verified patient on 1/24

It was fast and easy took no more then 10 min to receive my results with the Rapid test

- Verified patient on 2/18

Outstanding! This place looks new to SLO so I wasn’t sure whether to book an appointment here but I’m so glad I did. Efficient, friendly, superb staff. Drive up testing in your car, on-line booking of appointments and forms are easily done on your phone. The staff even gave me a jump start when my car battery died! Recommend 110%.

- Verified patient on 1/30

Only problem was no one told me there was $125 out of pocket cost fir the rapid test. So I had to switch to the standard with wait time. Cost should show on web page.

- Verified patient on 1/21

The test itself went very smoothly. However I waited 45 minutes before I was told I would have to fill out online paperwork again.

- Verified patient on 4/23

May God bless the assistant that performed my test. He was caring and compassionate. I was nervous, but he was gentle and the experience was pain free. 5 thumbs up.

- Verified patient on 2/20

My first COVID test experience and all of my concerns were allayed by a very professional and courteous staff.

- Verified patient on 4/5

Quick. Easy. No fuss. They explain what they are doing prior to sticking the swab in your nose. I’d recommend - will return to this sight for my next test.

- Verified patient on 2/3

Seamless. I loved being able to fill out everything on my phone in advance of my appointment. No discomfort at all and love the percentage of accuracy the PCR test has that you are using.

- Verified patient on 1/26

I went in for the Covid test and they were prompt and was a very quick stop for me. I like the online pre check-in and checking process.

- Verified patient on 3/19

What troopers to be out in the pouring rain administering these tests! The staff is super friendly and professional. What a quick and comfortable experience!

- Verified patient on 1/22

I tested positive today , my wife tested at this site and had a negative test , with him testing positive should she get another test ?

- Verified patient on 3/26

CVS canceled my 11a appointment at 9a the same morning. I needed a Rapid Test for a flight leaving in less than 24 hours. They didn't have any options, nor did they care to assist in finding another provider. I was so glad to find SLO Covid Center, I got an appointment that morning. They were kind, efficient and cost less!

- Verified patient on 4/22

Very patient and kind staff, from the office staff answering questions on the telephone to to folks performing these tests. You have got a great staff! Please stay safe and well!

San Luis Obispo Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
