Please make a note of the following text: "The overall scheduling process was great, as usual. The check-in process met the usual high standards with friendly front desk staff. The nurses were good. However, the doctor who saw me for only 30 to 40 seconds seemed disinterested and uncaring. He didn't seem to put in any effort and barely listened to me when I tried to explain how sick I was feeling. I didn't even get the chance to tell him about my episodes of cold sweats, trembling, cramps, and nausea. He walked in and out of the room while I was still talking. He refused to consider the possibility that I might have been exposed to something dangerous. I have always been more than happy with Indigo; they have some of the most impressive people I've ever met in the medical field. As a CNA and a massage therapist for 30 years, that says a lot! If this were my first experience, I would be on Yelp, Google, etc. Warning everyone to stay away and avoid, if possible, the whole organization! I would recommend that you not allow your wonderful reputation to be destroyed by this person!"

Recent Urgent Care Reviews (20)

I do not know the names of the 3 that took care of my 3 year old daughter yesterday evening. I was so full of anxiety from no sleep in a few days and being so worried why she was so sick and in so much pain. We went to another multicare urgent care in the morning and the ARNP that was on the floor said her ears were so impacted with hardened wax he couldn’t even see if there was an infection. My daughter was visibly miserable and told me that the only option is to do an ear wash but he advised against it because it would be so painful that even adults can’t handle it and he sent us on our way with “give her some Tylenol”. Fast forward to coming to wood creek convenience care the ARNP on floor that evening, he assured me they would be able to take care of the ear wash and check for infection to get her healed up. We were in and out in a short amount of time. While the ear wash was scary for a moment, they treated her with such care she was thanking them for helping her ears feel better as they were working on it. He apologized whole heartedly for the way we were left so discouraged that morning especially since they are both multicare facilities. So please, whoever reads these reviews, please please please recognize the staff from the evening of January 15th for finally helping my baby girl. Thank you for being so kind to an overly frazzled mama. You guys are the real deal! I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. The Smithwick family

I Thought I broke my toe. It was too painful to walk on. All staff, from the receptionist to the m.a. were very kind. Really organized. The Radiologiic technologist was excellent. As a retired Rad.tech., I taught professionalism & positioning at Pima med. Inst.,the last 4 year's of my career. The R.T. that took my x-Ray was excellent. He was professionaly personal. A+A+++. Its not easy getting a lateral view on the 4th toe. He even shielded me. That was very caring. Your receptionist worked hard to agnoligh pts., Asa they walked in the door. That's really important & rare these days. The P.A. was extremely thourough. The only thing I would ask is that she validated how painful my condition was. This helps a patient know a provider has compassion & can actually assist in patient healing. Not to focus on the pain. Just to agnoligh it. I've been trained in mindfulness & learned to go right to the pain, agnoligh it with love, because it's a part of me. Then hold it gently, in my mind as I imagine waves softly moving accrossed it. This process is incredibly helpful. It wouldn't hurt to do an in-service for your providers on mindfulness, as to recommend it to their pts. It can be easily accessed on YouTube. Some patients with acute pain suffer much waiting to see their PCP. With the present climate of opiate use, pts need to be aware of other options besides NSAIDS, which can be hard on the stomach. Oherwise the P.A. was very pleasent, giving me an ortho. Boot really helped. I could've went to a closer urgent care but you guys are the best.

Wow! I never knew that an Urgent Care could be so friendly, clean and professional. The whole system (I made appt the prior day) was easy to make appt, fill out necessary forms and confirm. The nurses and doctor were awesome, friendly, made you feel comfortable, and were 100% there for you. They printed out a complete patient visit log, great to receive because I get home and forget a detail and it's there for me to refer to. They never made you feel rushed, they offered us water, coffee or tea if we like, such a great feeling to have a place to go and know you are treated with such care. When we arrived the waiting area is nice, lots of space and extremely clean. Only one nurse/receptionist checking people in. She was very friendly and helpful. The line was not but 3 of us but it started getting busier and the receptionist knew who was next after asking people to have a sit and they would be with you. I got the "Manager1" to check us in and she was the only one we encountered that wasn't the friendlyist, she seemed stressed or showing her authority title. Not the best people skills with patients and her coworkers. Opposite of everyone else there: rushed, impatient and not pleasant. Definitely if the need is there we will come back for a check up. Already passed your information off to 2 family members to come in and get checked. Thank you so much 💓.

The medical staff was amazing, professional and courteous. My issue was with reception. I called the clinic on 10/5 and they were so nice They scheduled us an appointment to come in today at 11:15. When we showed up I checked in on my phone and filled out the paperwork. We should already be in the multi care system but they didn’t find us. Receptionist was very rude and he said that I don’t have an appointment as 11:15 isn’t an appointment time. I offered to show him my text message that said we did have an appointment but he wasn’t interested. He then said you have a walk in slot that’s not an appointment. He then proceeded to tell me we have a $100 co pay and I said we have a $20 copay. He said it’s clear as day right here on the screen that it’s $100. I asked why when we go to marybridge urgent care it’s $20 and he said they must be doing something wrong there. A co worker the. Told him to just bill me. I was fine paying the $100 but I didn’t think it was right. While waiting I called Regence and they looked it up and the copay is $20. ER visits are $100. Urgent care is not an Er visit per regence. This guy was rude and not a good first face for your clinic.

The Assistant signing me in was Very Helpful as I looked up the hours of this Multicare location I didn't type in urgent care main Clinic and the sight then displayed closing hour was: 6 p.m. so I thought I had barely any time and she corrected my mistake lookup and said "We are open until 8 p.m. Then The Nurse Was a genuine Great Medical person knowing all things to do before the doctor saw me and she was concerned about the area of the back of my leg by my ankle or the "Achilles Tendon". The PA-C Travis R Hunt was very helpful Sharing how it be Achilles Tendinitis and that rest, icing the area painful area 2-3 times a day along with taking ibuprofen and using exercise steps included in the dis charge papers would Help. And Travis Hunt Listened well to what I shared with him about buying kinesiology tape that might help reduce the pain by keeping it from moving wrong causing pain where support of the tape would help so He Graciously put the tape on and it felt less sore than when I walked in. So Great Travis is a Great PA-C. and Person! Thanks all Craig Finley. I'd refer anyone to this Rockwood, Multicare Location to meet their health needs!

We had to go in for our baby daughters fever on Friday night. We were immediately out at ease with the attentive and thorough care once we were in. We were given the information clearly and timely. We felt like we were a part of the process instead of just being told what was going on. We were able to leave and have her rest at home with medication and were really impressed with the whole experience. But then, it got even better when we got a call the next morning from the doctor, I believe it was Dr Bajaj (sorry for not remembering exactly!) just checking to see how she was feeling and how her night was. We felt so impressed with the call to just check in. Then a few days later, after a few days of her antibiotics and resting have kicked in, we got another call checking in on her progress. The continued showing of care for her just means so much and instills so much confidence in going to Healthpoint again. Thank you for putting these new parents at ease with our first baby urgent care experience!

Absolutely amazing. I've been to multiple other urgent care places in Spokane and in other countries and this was by far my best experience. I went because my mom recommended Indigo after visiting with a family friend and the service was just as amazing as she said. I called ahead and they answered all my questions about insurance and the care they provide. The lady who answered the phone put me on the schedule, when I arrived I was checked in immediately and taken to a room. The nurse and doctor saw we straight away, listened to me and ordered xrays. The xray tech and trainee were amazing and patient with my pain levels. Waited exactly as long as they said for xray results and was out the door with care instructions. Follow up text arrived shortly after. Thank you to the whole care team: Heather, Tara, Kendra, Erica, and the trainee xray person who I apologize for forgetting her name! Very professional, clean, friendly, and quick! Plus I loved the little drink options they provide! I'll definitely use the Shadle Indigo again if I need urgent care.

I’m generally pretty hesitant about visiting Urgent Cares. My family and I haven’t, historically, received the best care at Urgent Cares. I was so pleasantly surprised by the new Indigo UC in Maple Valley. I made my appointment online. The staff was incredibly nice and made their cleaning visible. Dr. Marshall truthfully treated me like I was at a primary care practice instead of an urgent care. He was thorough, thoughtful, and straightforward. He went above and beyond during the appointment, called me right away with my lab results, and, days later, when I was having a communication and scheduling issue with the provider he referred me to, he personally took my phone call, called the provider himself, advocated for me, and then called me back immediately. I’ve never had a doctor show me that much respect and display that much empathy to a concerned patient. Dr Marshall and the staff definitely changed my opinion of urgent cares.

That place was amazing, and I’m so happy, that doctor Charity something fixed me. She gave me prescriptions for an inhaler, Nasonex and cough suppressant beads. I used all this yesterday afternoon through this morning, and this morning I pretty much feel completely NORMAL. Thank you SO much. Thank God I went there! I couldn’t even make an in person appointment with my regular doctor because I said I had a cough, and I have been fully vaccinated for COVID, and my COVID test I just took came out negative. Thank God that urgent care was there because I’m about to go out of town, and I would have been hacking and coughing on the airplane and miserable on my vacation. She even gave me a post-dated written prescription to take on my trip for an antibiotic should my illness get worse while out of town, but I think I’m good. Thank you!

I got checked out on saturday april 11th at multicare indigo on rainier! They were amazing to us and fast pace. They seem organized and always put patients first! The medical assistances there were nice and offer us tea. They made me and my girlfriend feel welcome during this rough time. Thank you to lupe for checking us in and keeping us updated. Thank you to mylinh for being being nice during our visit and being helpful. Thank you to alina for being friendly and explaining my avs to me. This is one of the best clinics i been to so far and i loved the experience! If my friends ever needed care i would definitely mention this urgent care! They have the most amazing staff i came across from! Also thank you to phillis for being a good provider for my care!

I was pleasantly surprised & pleased that I was able to make an appointment over the phone to be seen for my problem! When I arrived, I was promptly signed in & was the only one in the Waiting area; that made me feel very safe & welcomed! My wait time was minimal & the staff were all super friendly & very professional 🙂 Everything was very neat & clean & there was hand-sanitizer everywhere for the Staff’s & patients’ use. I was fairly quickly seen by the Physician for my problem; he was very thorough in taking a Hx of my Chief Complaint, did a thorough Exam as well, gave me a Diagnosis & then printed out a Tx Regimen for me including the use of Antibiotics. I would definitely recommend this Urgent Care facility! Thank you so much to everyone involved!😊

Dr.Lemmon is fantastic!! After going earlier in the day to a different pediatrician in the area (SFM), I was so happy to have a much better experience at Woodcreek urgent care! SFM refused to tell me any results from my daughters blood test simply because she said “we can’t sit around looking at labs all day.” So I came to Woodcreek and was immediately met by nice ladies at the desk, incredibly helpful and sweet. The nurse was also sweet to me and my daughters and made us feel comfortable. But Dr. Lemmon was fantastic! He made us feel at ease with concerns but also understood them. He made my daughters laugh and feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Thank you so much to Dr. Lemmon and all the staff at Sunrise Woodcreek urgent care! ❤️

Meeting Dr.L.Leahy was a blessing at a time when I felt vulnerable re: to rule out blood clot. Waiting time wasn't too bad, but thankful lab, & ultra sound all in house. Tatyana in Ultrasound was very professional, again when I felt vulnerable. Then was seen by Dr. Leahy again to explain the results, professional, compassionate, direct and thorough. Hat's off to the receptionist when waiting area was nearly full, excellent care from Dr. Leahy, lab downstairs a bit of wait great phlebotomy nailed it, and Tatyana the Vascular/ultrasound tech. The security guard upon exiting was alert, aware and made certain patients were directed to proper care. It was a 5 star MultiCare day even though I felt I was on Hamster wheel moving about where I needed to be for the urgent care needed.

I feel blessed that I’ve not had a need to be in an ER or urgent care place in the past. I’ve heard stories of terrible wait times. I’m pleased to say that I did not have to wait long at all, as I was a walk-in. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and kind! They made me feel very much at ease as I was pretty nervous. The doctor was very kind also, and explained things to me as he stitched me up. They all took great care of me as they worked on my wound-cleaning it thoroughly before and after the stitches. Everyone of them were concerned about my comfort at all times. I received a text checking up on me to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Indigo!

This was my first time visiting the Clinic. I was amazed at how clean and friendly the staff were. I was greeted by the medical assistant Wei for my 6pm appointment. My check in process was easy and speedy. Wei was very kind and knowledgeable. She explained specific instructions regarding my testing prior to taking me to the room. Within two minutes Jenn came in to introduce herself and explain process and what to expect She was thorough in obtaining my medication list, symptoms, and history. She too was very kind and truly compassionate. Jessica Wang the ARNP came in explained diagnosis and provided information about condition and treatment. Medications were sent to my pharmacy. I will use this clinic now for any urgent care. My experience was wonderful and would definitely recommend.

Testing center was great. It was hard for me to find it online. I called 4 different places that had no availability/open testing before my wife let me know about the city of Seattle UW testing location. Any steps to make it more readily apparent or the first result when googling “covid testing Seattle” would be a huge help. I used google maps to search that and was directed to Walgreens, zoom+ care, indigo urgent care, and Swedish first hill. All of these places required a referral or had convoluted sign up processes that did not result in my ability to get testing done the same day. Glad my wife knew about your testing center because sign up was easy and I was able to get in within the hour of signing up.

I went to urgent care tonight for something that had been really affecting me for a bit. My care here was so astoundingly amazing. My previous experiences with other urgent cares was that you are rushed in and out and the care was subpar, often not worth money or time. The soonest I could get my appointment with my new doctor (previous one left insurance) wasn’t until the end of the month and I knew it couldn’t wait but it also wasn’t an emergency for the ER. I’m so glad I went here. Everyone was great, the care was extremely thorough and I have a referral for a specialist as well. I cried with relief in the car. I truly appreciated the care. Thank you to the team who helped me tonight!

I never anticipated having to be tested as I’ve taken all COVID-19 safeguards at work and home. After experiencing symptoms and being notified I was in close contact with a worker who tested positive, I had to follow the advice I had been giving to others. I found the Urgent Cares and Walk-in Clinics at capacity so learning Snohomish Health District had available appointments brought me great relief as I was given a lab order to be tested. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I was met with helpful test site workers who made my visit less stressful. Even though everyone had face masks on, I could tell there were friendly smiles directing me through this process. Thank you for the care and service provided to me today.

I called this morning to hopefully be squeezed in as a walk in, however the receptionist was very rude and unhelpful when I described my 11 month old baby’s symptoms. My baby was inconsolable since last night and I was desperate to be seen because I suspected an ear infection. The receptionist insisted I could not be seen and was not sympathetic or apologetic. If you are urgent care, walk ins should be allowed…appointments are not always predictable if something is URGENT. I called mary bridge urgent care in OLYMPIA and they were more than happy to accommodate me WITHOUT a scheduled appointment and the receptionist was extremely helpful, friendly and reassuring…he was diagnosed with a double ear infection. You all have great providers but your front desk/receptionist are UNPROFESSIONAL and rude.

This was my first experience with Indigo Urgent Care. I made an appointment using my cell phone which was seamless. All staff was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They listened to my symptoms, asked pertinent questions and I feel exceedingly confident with their diagnosis and treatment. The only reason for a 4 star rating as it pertains to wait time is because they were running a bit behind due to a complicated procedure prior to my appointment. I know this is unavoidable and will not deter me from using their services again. I now consider Indigo Urgent Care my first choice when it comes to basic healthcare. It’s definitely a bummer to be sick. However the care I received at indigo made things more tolerable and I know I’m on the mend.

Urgent Care in Washington

Beautiful, bounteous Washington state is well-known for bustling cities such as Seattle, Tacoma, and Spokane, but it has many less explored regions as well. People move to the outer reaches because they love nature, but they never realize that doing so has an effect on their healthcare.

The many health systems in Washington, including Kadlec, Providence Health & Services, and Spectrum, have their work cut out for them. So do the urgent care and retail clinics in the state. Washington still has a huge husbandry population, and while lumberjacks have better tools than ever there are still injuries out in the woods that often require fast and effective treatment.

From poison ivy to meningitis to Lyme disease, the usual maladies of forested areas strike the state's residents, especially in relatively unincorporated areas. Various issues associated with toxicology are also prevalent in the extreme northwest, which often requires afflicted individuals to have quick access to care; they can't risk driving miles to reach a hospital.

Fortunately, no residents have to rely on hospitals, which might be miles away. Urgent care facilities are closely dotted all over the state, so people who live in Yakima or Richland, for example, don't have to drive to Spokane or even Ellensburg to get professional help. Renton, Issaquah, and even Lynnwood are all well-represented.

Even in the state's larger metropolitan areas, there are people who can't afford hospital healthcare, or may not have time to wait. Retail clinics and walk-in facilities there offer constant help and lower price considerations, making them ideal for practically anyone's budget.

Urgent Care FAQs

  • How much will an urgent care visit in Washington cost?

The price charged at an urgent care, whether in Washington or elsewhere, will be based on the location, and there are no actual standard costs between the clinics. Assuming you are paying with cash, you might come across an urgent clinic that charges you $50 while another situated some mile away charges you $100 for the same services. The standard cost in urgent care where insurance cover is not involved ranges from $100 to $125. This price is generally the standard price of a visit before extra services. There are a couple of additional care services that could make your appointment to an urgent care costly including x-rays and lab tests, medications and injections (such as immunization), casting broken bones, as well as stitches and splints. If you have a viable insurance plan in place, the standard pay will be between $20 – 50 depending on your insurance coverage and whether you are in contact with the provider.

  • Are Washington urgent care centers open after hours?

Most primary care doctor offices are open during routine work hours, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Conversely, most of the urgent care centers in Washington are available after hours, on weekends, and many holidays. Typical urgent care hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily, although location-specific hours may vary.

  • Do urgent care centers in Washington take appointments?

Historically, urgent care centers were strictly an on-demand, walk-in healthcare service mode. More recently, as consumer behaviors and expectations have evolved, many urgent care clinics have begun offering book ahead visits, allowing consumers to select a same-day or next-day time that works best for their schedule. Use Solv to find a Washington urgent care center that offers advanced bookings (or appointments) and book online.

  • How do I book an appointment online with an urgent care in Washington?

Solv allows Washington residents and visitors to book urgent care visits online with just a few taps. Same-day and next-day visit times are generally available, and you can search for real-time availability clinics.

  • How can I find an urgent care in Washington who takes my insurance?

Solv allows you to find any of the urgent care and walk-in clinics in Washington, many of which accept most major commercial insurances. Just browse the clinics page to see if your carrier and plan is listed. If you are still unsure, it is best to contact the urgent care center directly for clarification.

  • Do Washington urgent care centers offer virtual visits or telemedicine?

Many urgent care centers, including those in Washington, now offer virtual visits or telemedicine for residents and visitors throughout the state. Virtual urgent care visits are generally booked online whether in advance or on-demand. Clinics that do offer virtual care have a video icon on their profiles.

  • What is the best urgent care center in Washington?

While it would be easy to provide a list of urgent care centers in and around Washington, 'best' is a challenging term to qualify. For some consumers, that could mean the closest location whereas other people may prioritize patient reviews, service costs, availability, or whether or not the provider accepts their insurance. With the list of locations above, use the filters provided to narrow the results to find the best urgent care for your needs.

  • What is Urgent Care?

Urgent care is available to assist patients that are looking for immediate, convenient medical care. In that manner, they are similar to an emergency room. The difference, however, is that ERs are meant to treat major, life-threatening injuries and illnesses while urgent care centers manage life’s minor bruises and bumps. In simple terms, an urgent care is seen as a walk-in health center that focuses in offering non-emergent health care conditions, including the treatment of the typical illnesses and injuries such as fractures and sprains, cuts and burns, scrapes, stings and bites, flu and cold symptoms, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, and much more. Most urgent care facilities offer both diagnostic and preventive care such as well visits, immunizations, STD testing and annual physicals. For regular visits and check-ups on these clinics, you should expect to pay between $20 and $100. The good thing is that most urgent care clinics will accept major PPOs and insurance cover, Medicare, as well as self-pay in the form of credit cards or cash. Urgent care clinics are located in most parts of the country in various regions to offset emergency room visits and provide a gap in healthcare services. They take patients during all hours of operations, which offer a significant convenience to most people who have and continue to undergo the need for sudden and immediate medical attention.
