Battling this illness for a couple of days. Decided it was time and googled urgent cares near me. (Relatively new to the area) found one location with an hour wait and they referred me to a different location. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend! The staff (Bianca, Quay, Dan, the NP) were over the top incredible! The NP listened to my symptoms and didn’t treat me like a number. Care like this is often a thing of the past, not with this crew!

Short Wait Time

My first time at Guidewell today made a lasting impression on me. From my phone conversation with receptionist, the ease at scheduling appt, the quick response time for that appt, I was already impressed. Wait time at the office was minimal; Katherine (ARNP) was so caring, gentle and kind. She listened to everything I told her, and made the decision for me to have X-RAYS taken. After having this procedure done, Katherine came back into the room and made some great recommendations for me to follow through with. I only wish I could make Guidewell my Primary Healthcare Provider! Marsha

Easy to schedule. Staff was very nice and helpful. The APRN did a great job and was able to answer all questions. The only down side is they were running behind. So we had to wait 25 minutes. Would use them in the future.

We knew there would be some wait time, especially with the surge of COVID cases lately. The staff was incredibly kind and kept us informed of the wait and we were seen in a timely manner. Jose was our nurse and is doing an incredible job, very kind, caring and put us at ease with COVID testing. So thank you, Jose!

My husband tested positive for Covid and it was a rush to get down there with all three of my children and myself to get tested last minute. My family has a funeral the following day and I was absolutely scared. I Donely were they sensitive to my situation but, they worked me in last minute even when they were ready to close. These women have been on their feet all day long and have families to get home to yet they stay to tend to mine. They were sweet, kind, quick and efficient! I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided! The medical care they give is definitely above and beyond!

The facility was very clean. We did not have to wait long.. I was very pleased they had every test my mother needed on site like blood work, mri, and xray. My mother needed IV with antibiotics so it took a while. But the staff checked on us regularly and gave us water while we watched TV in a private room. My mother was much better when she left. I recommend Guidewell highly.

I originally tried to go to a place across the street since I was an existing patient, but their wait time was too long and I only needed a COVID test for travel. I had no idea this facility was right there until I went online to look for another place. I'm so glad I ended up here, the facility is gorgeous (coming from a medical background) and so nice and clean/organized. Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and informative. I will definitely use this office again if needed!

My fiancée had an appt for a PCR test and they made an effort to get me an appt in the spot as well. And every one was pleasant even though they were busy!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. When I couldn’t get my health insurance card to email they man said I could airdrop it, which worked! He was able to quickly verify my insurance and pay required. There was no line. After we registered the remainder of our care was from the comfort and safety of our car in the parking lot. I felt very safe getting a Covid test at this facility. This is the best kept secret in town for urgent care. I will go back.

Justin was very thorough and professional, good listener and accurate diagnosis. The x-ray technician was professional and precise, Chris did an excellent job administering tests. Everything was clearly explained to me and all of my questions were answered. This is a well run facility with a caring staff and I was very satisfied with the high level of care I received. Highly recommend!

After trying 4 other urgent cares with in the area, I accidentally ended up here. I didn’t know about it and it didn’t show up on Google. I was looking to get a vivid test because, as we know, there are none available for purchase anywhere in the area. ALL of the other places were busy yes but all were rude and unhelpful. I was greeted by three friendly and helpful people at the front desk. It was busy but I was assured that they would get to me as soon as they could. Everyone from intake to the nurse and physician were amazingly professional. More importantly, they were kind helpful and genuinely concerned for my welfare. I will definitely utilize this location again should the need arise.

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
