That last review was definitely not from EUC. Dr. Wallentine in the 15 years I have known him has never ever ever said "have you never had a cold before." I am 100% sure that this person was reviewing a different physician. Read the Google reviews. This website is a joke.

Friendly Staff

I’ve been a patient of Dr Brown and his staff for about 3 years and My monthly visits have been GREAT! I’ve had my problem for 19 years and I had to find a doctor here that could continue my treatment because my previous Doctor is in Texas and I moved home so I had to find someone local. And the reason why I mention that is because for 19 years I’ve been treated by doctors when I lived in Alabama and Texas and they just couldn’t seem to get me where I needed to be and I remember my first visit to Dr. Brown, I was explaining to him about my condition because they didn’t have my medical records yet from Texas, and he looked at me and said, if you can’t laugh about your condition then your condition wins. And every month I go in there for medication refills and It’s always that TOPNOTCH LEVEL OF CARE!!!! For almost 20 years of being treated for this crazy condition that I have, Dr. Brown and his staff and his nurse practitioner Are the only ones who really truly listend to me, and finally I’m able to live my life the way I wanna live it! And I totally owe that to Dr. Brown and the entire staff!!!! I wished 19 years ago that Dr. Brown was my doctor because I truly believe the last 19 years of my life would’ve been a lot better! My hats off to Dr. Brown and his staff, they’re the best medical team I’ve ever been a patient of and I will never choose any other doctor but Dr. Brown and his staff! I am finally me! Thank you Dr Brown and everyone at Martinez Urgent Care for treating me like a member of a family and not just a chart, and listening to me when I tell them what’s wrong, they never rush me and Dr. Brown and his nurse practitioner always make time to listen no matter how busy they are! If you’re looking for a doctor with a staff that goes above and beyond then Martinez urgent care is the place you should go!! It’s because of Dr Brown, APRN Miller, the nurses and staff that after being treated for this for 19 years I’m finally able to live my life instead of just existing. So from Alabama to Texas, Martinez Urgent Care beats them all! Thank you Dr Brown and the ENTIRE staff for you’re awesome, top notch care!!!!

The nurse was awesome. I forgot her name but I won't forget her care/vlondush brown long hair, light skin, energetic, happy, caring and and polite and didn't hurt with the Covid swab nor with her the shots she gave. The girl who checked me in was nice and efficient and the girl who checked me out and gave me my work excuse was very nice and chatty though it was about time for them to close and was also efficient. And last but not least was Jason the Dr/nurse practioner was spot on with his diagnosis and meds and was great, polite and professional. Thanks everyone!!!

Our experience was amazing from the start! We came in for a physical for my son & it was a last minute requirement, so I was stressed to the max, but the precious woman at the desk was an absolute joy! Then, during the physics itself, the doctor was so reassuring, as my son gets very nervous, and she got us through it wonderfully! The staff is always amazing & I’m so grateful we have this facility!

My experience was awesome! The doctor was very patient & proficient. My visit was not very long. My wait time & visit was about the same as if I were actually at the physical location. Thank you Summit Urgent Care for providing this virtual service.

I had some initial confusion using the Kiosks ! The staff proactively sat with me to assist the information getting! I was 9th in line for the visit and talked with another perfectly distanced from my seat! Impressed by the clean and modern facility! The paramedic and doctor assistant were efficient and empathetic as they determined with me a resolution to my physical concern! (Shingles). As I left I was struck by how clean and modern was the appearance of this facility! Definitely going to return!!!!!

Thank you Expercare for taking care of me today. Nobody looked going to the Dr but I always feel better after leaving the clinic, either physically due to treatment or mentally because of the reassurance that I'm going to be ok I get from everyone.

I was happy to be able to get an appointment so quickly. I was sorry that there is no physical location close enough to me to go for testing as recommended by practitioner. Extend into the Athens GA area please

We were there for a sports physical. I scheduled the appointment and completed all of the paperwork on line. We were checked in and out of the office within 20 minutes. Staff were very nice and we loved the nurse and nurse practitioner.

Had to get son a sports physical drs office was weeks out , the staff was amazing!!! I forgot my paperwork I was just a mess today. Today they exceeded my expectations in the middle of a packed office with covid. Dr was helpful and got us out ASAP .

The front desk associates greeted us when we walked in. They were friendly and waiting to assist us. Dr. Mitchell Harvey, was OUTSTANDING. She did a thorough physical on my twins and then pointed out issues that she discovered while checking them. Dr. Mitchell Harvey was very patient and I really felt welcome at this location. She listened to the twins and answered all of their many questions that they asked. We will never go to another urgent care but this one. Customer service, caring and overall professionalism is 100% here!! J Johnson

We were there for a sports physical. Checked in online. Still had to wait a few minutes but still faster than the regular doctors office. NP was friendly. Would definitely recommend.

5 stars using the virtual forum. It was super quick and easy as I completed the entire process including the call from my phone. It saved so much time by not commuting to the physical location. The NP was very nice! She listened to my needs and her friendly smile was refreshing. I highly recommend and will use again. Thank you!

The young lady at the front desk was amazing! In don’t remember her name but she was had very long eyelashes (extensions). She was a younger African American woman. The waits were terribly long due to all the sickness and Covid issues. I was there for my child’s sports physical so I was able to wait inside while all the sick people were waiting in their cars. Long story short, because I waited in the office I witnessed how she handled all the people. She was professional and friendly at all times. A woman who was frustrated came in and was not speaking very nice to the employees. The young lady at the front desk never lost her cool. She answered the questions the best she could and she remained pleasant. I was so impressed. Most people would have snapped back at the rude lady! Y’all are slammed with people! People are stressed and tired of waiting(2 hours for some) and they don’t feel well….but I was so impressed with how the young lady and the other ladies handled this very stressful time. Good for you! Please let your employees know that their kindness doesn’t go unnoticed.

The Physical Assistant I saw tonight was the one best medical personal I have ever seen. She had amazing customer service skills, was comforting, relatable, and very informative. I would definitely recommend her and the practice. What an awesome experience.

Dr. Aristride was phenomenal! We took our 10 yr old for a sports physical. Dr. Aristride demonstrated the upmost professionalism, caring and courtesy bedside manner, and patience all while staying past closing hours.

My daughter came in for a sports physical. The staff was friendly, professional, and the service was reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend them!

I have had to use Summit for multiple reasons, from sports physicals to COVID testing, every single time I have been extremely pleased with the level of care!! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. The nurses and physicians are very thorough and professional. They also have amazing bedside manner. I will continue to visit Summit for any needs that myself or my family may have!!

I have yet to take the test, but the interactions leading up to the physical, curb-side service have been terrific. Each staff member I’ve spoken with has been so helpful and accommodating. I don’t expect anything different for the testing tomorrow. In fact, this location was highly recommended by a “big box pharmacy competitor” and I can definitely see why!

- Verified patient on 2/4

I feel that something was missing. By default the lack of physical pressence is essential for some conditions. The tele conference was not the best option for me this time. I do believe that there is potential but lab option is required.

- Verified patient on 5/24

Upon walking in the door for the rapid Covid test, I encountered a staff member sitting at a table. I was not greeted or acknowledged for a short period of time. Although she wasn’t on the phone or talking to anyone, she chose to ignore me until she finished what she was doing. It literally takes 2 seconds to make eye contact, say hello, I’ll be right with you. As if I wasn’t feeling bad enough physically and certainly didn’t come to make her obvious bad day worse, it just adds another layer to the question, what type of care will I receive here? Fortunately, the staff member who preformed the test was quite polite and very professional as was the staff member who relayed the test results.

Harlem Physical Exams

A annual physical exam (or annual well visit) is a routine check-up where a doctor or healthcare provider checks you for routine health issues and asks you basic questions about your health. During a physical exam, the doctor will most likely go over your medical history and ask you questions about the current state of your health. They'll also check vital signs like your heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature, as well as take a look at whether your skin appears healthy. You'll also get a head and neck exam, a lung exam (using a stethoscope), an abdominal exam, a neurological exam, and more. Women may get a breast and pelvic exam and men may get prostate, penis, testicular, and hernia exams.

Annual exams are important because they can help you find out about health issues early on so treatment can begin as soon as any problems are discovered. If you're overweight or you're at risk for diabetes, you'll most likely get a blood sugar test too. Everyone over the age of three should have a physical exam every year. At age 50, your doctor might start screening for colorectal cancer. At 40, women should begin getting regular mammogram screenings for breast cancer. Women ages 45 to 54 should get them yearly and women 55 and older should get them (at minimum) every two years.

More Details about Physical Exams

A physical examination is frequently done as part of a doctor's routine checkup. You can better prepare for your next medical appointment by learning more about what happens during a physical exam.

Physical examination

A physical examination is when your healthcare practitioner examines and studies your body to determine whether you have a physical health concern. Inspection, palpation, auscultation, and percussion are the four components of a physical examination, according to the National Library of Medicine (NLM).

Your doctor examines your body for concerns such as skin imperfections during the examination. According to the National Library of Medicine, palpation is the process of feeling your body with your fingers or hands, such as when a doctor feels for a tumor or mass.

Auscultation is a procedure in which your doctor listens to sounds, such as your heartbeat. Percussion entails making noises, such as tapping on various body parts. According to the National Library of Medicine, this is normally done to establish the size and consistency of your organs, as well as the presence or absence of fluids in specific locations.

The purpose of an annual physical exam

An annual physical exam, according to the National Library of Medicine, can help you detect and prevent health concerns you may not be aware of.

A yearly physical exam is used to check for diseases such as cancer and to see whether you are at risk for certain health issues such as diabetes. According to the National Library of Medicine, a yearly physical checkup allows you to stay up to date on vaccines and other preventative health treatments, as well as make good lifestyle choices that improve your overall health. Another advantage of getting an annual physical examination is that you can keep in constant contact with your doctor if you acquire an illness or chronic disease.

How to prepare for a physical examination

According to the National Library of Medicine, arriving prepared for your appointment can help you get the most out of your visit and avoid unnecessary follow-ups with your doctor.

First, go over your family's medical history and be ready to discuss any health conditions that run in your family, such as high blood pressure, cancer, or diabetes. According to the National Library of Medicine, your doctor may use this information to see if you're at risk for these same health issues.

The National Library of Medicine suggests that you check to see whether any general checkups or vaccines are needed. If you're not sure, call your doctor ahead of time so you can dress correctly or make extra arrangements if you need to go through specific tests.

Lastly, the NLM suggests writing down a list of issues and questions to mention during your appointment. For example, if you’ve been experiencing any new or different symptoms, write these down so your doctor can examine you for related health problems.

How a physical examination is performed

According to the National Library of Medicine, the manner in which your physical exam is conducted is mostly determined by your gender and age, due to changes in anatomy and health problems that affect different age groups.

Male examination

According to the National Library of Medicine, males between the ages of 18 and 39 have their height, weight, and body mass index (BMI) examined at every appointment. Males in this age bracket may be questioned about mental health issues such as depression, as well as their eating, exercise, and substance use habits. Blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease may all be checked.

According to the National Library of Medicine, men aged 40 to 64 receive the same services as men aged 18 to 39, as well as screenings for colorectal cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and osteoporosis. Men in their sixties and seventies may also be asked about their medications and whether they have recently fallen.

Female examination

At each checkup, females between the ages of 18 and 39 will have their height, weight, and BMI measured. According to the National Library of Medicine, females should have their blood pressure tested every one to two years, and cervical cancer screenings should begin at the age of 21. During their regular physical, females in this age bracket may also have diabetes and cholesterol screenings.

According to the National Library of Medicine, women between the ages of 40 and 64 receive all of the same services as younger women, as well as lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and osteoporosis screenings. Women over the age of 65 may be subjected to routine mammograms and may be asked about any medications they are taking.

Lab tests

Based on the findings of your physical exam, your doctor may prescribe lab tests to confirm or rule out one or more diseases. The NLM says that lab tests may be used as part of examinations for disorders like colorectal cancer and cervical cancer.

Before your appointment, call your doctor to find out if you'll be having lab tests and what they'll entail so you can make the required preparations.

Following up after a physical examination

If one of your screens or lab tests comes back positive or inconclusive, you may be contacted following your physical examination. In such cases, your doctor will contact you to discuss treatment options or to prescribe more testing and screening. Your doctor can tell you more about what to expect after your physical exam in terms of follow-up.
