Thank you to the staff of Hometown Urgent Care in Xenia, OH. I've been researching places that are doing COVID testing. I was so happy to see that testing was happening in a location that I pass every day. With easy-to-adhere-to safety precautions in place, like remaining in your car to fill out the intake form and then waiting for your turn to be seen, this was a breezy testing venture. Staff was friendly and helpful. The nurse was very good-natured over the phone and in person and answered all my questions. The place is very clean with all the safety measures in place. The doctor was super nice, made me feel heard, listened to my concerns, and was so skilled at administering the nasal swab. Zip zop zoop. A little discomfort for maybe 3 seconds. Just like he described -- it's like when you're swimming and you get salt water up your nose. The exact same feeling. No big deal. I was so sorry I had been so scared of this test and reluctant to get it. This was my first visit and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
