Urgent care
Lab testing
Scheduling was easy via Solv, but no coordination between Solv and the office resulted in multiple duplicate bookings and unacceptable wait time.  2:30 appointment confirmed by Solv, actual check-in 4:55.  Staff was friendly and courteous, but front desk staff was overwhelmed.  Provider and staff were prompt once I was checked in and appointment was quick and efficient.  Care and bedside manner were top notch.

So convenient to go on the phone app and find an appointment! Got in early and I don't think I waited 5 minutes before I was taken back. Was in and out in probably 15 minutes or less with a prescription sent to my Pharmacy.

I have never had a more efficient, friendly, respectful, informed or helpful doctor visit. Generally I hate going to the doctor, but this visit was a delight, and feel grateful to be in their care.

An hour and three quarters wait for a 10 minute visit — filling out paperwork online, only to have to fill out the same paperwork again once in the office , NOT particularly impressive 🙄

I would 100% recommend this company to anyone wanting to check their health status. The process was incredibly easy and done through certified labs. The results are frequently back by the next day.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Went immediately to JM ER as directed. Had ultrasound on my bladder which was empty so no need for catheter which you had wanted to do but you were out of them so I was lucky there. Another urinalysis and culture performed both negative. Blood tests show high white cell count. Prescribed antibiotics. Still feel terrible, tired, weak, no appetite. Earliest appointment for urologist is next Monday afternoon. Thanks Craig

Upon arrival the staff immediately knew something was wrong with me they took me into the examination room right away when they could not find my blood pressure and I was on the verge of passing out every doctor and nurse ran in to help me they called an ambulance I am forever grateful for the prompt response and wonderful bedside manner I would thoroughly recommend prohealth a Little Neck neck

I’ve had a lot of blood draws over my years and this had to be the most pleasant, quickest and pain free draws I’ve experienced. I almost didn’t feel the prick which, to a whimp who hates getting stuck, that’s a big deal. And the phlebotomist was so pleasant to talk with. Great job and thank you.

I knew I had a bladder infection, since I had the same symptoms about 2 years ago. They took a urine sample, took my blood pressure, asked me some medical questions, and sent out for my prescription. Service was excellent, and staff were courteous.

Beginning with the parking lot being specifically for vaccine participants , to all of the staff and volunteers , the experience was a positive one . I was very anxious and did experience a racing heart beat and notified the staff ten minutes after being vaccinated . They were very attentive, took me to a smaller room with fewer people and monitored my vitals for about thirty minutes Kay , the EMT with me was very helpful and reassuring . My blood pressure started a bit high , due to my anxiety , but came down within the thirty minutes . I was very impressed by the way that The Swedish Hospital system coordinated.the vaccine clinic

Once again, on very short notice, I was treated with kindness and respect. From the receptionist who quickly and efficiently made my visit the best to the young lady who took my blood pressure and made me feel at ease, I say thank you. The doctor listened to me, set me up with a specialist and made me understand my course of treatment.

Excellent technician and very courteous. Blood test was painless!

There was a bit of a wait which is unusual for this location. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable so it for sure makes up for it. It seemed there was only one person taking blood draws and usually there is 2.

Awesome staff. They're humans and did not draw blood! The location and set up is a little ghetto, lol, but still better than other drive-thru testing places.

I got there too early. The Solv app does not work. I had to re-enter all my information every single time to check where I was on the list for service. Once inside the young man who met us at the door and performed the blood pressure, heat rate etc. was fantastic, as was the doctor on call who checked our respiration etc. Both were knowledgeable, kind, competent and fast. We took the test to comply with reduced isolation/ quarantine. It was a Vacation re-entry Covid test.

Honestly amazing. The staff were so kind and patient. Desire, I know I spelled her name wrong, was so amazing! I had to get blood work and she did it so smooth and painless. Easiest blood draw I have ever had.

Usually when I have to get my blood taken i get stuck 2 or 3 times. Sometimes even more. The lady that took care of me got it right the first time. I cant remember her name, but she was so nice, and everyone else was to.

Wonderful young woman who did my blood draw. Don't remember her name but she was so kind and helpful. I was dehydrated so it was hard to get a stick, but she got it done while explaining why it was hard to get my blood as well as being gentle.

- Verified patient on 11/27

The doctor Jamie, I believe was great. Personable and zeroed in nicely on the key issues of my chief complaint. The person who took my blood needs a review on her technique. After placing the needle in the vain she didn't stabilize her hand holding the needle causing continual pain and slow emission of blood. After 2 viles gave up on right arm and after unsuccessful attempt on left arm had Dr Jamie do it and then there was no pain and no problem obtaining the last vile of blood.

Everyone was very courteous and professional and handled my blood draw very well. I continue to be impressed with how well this is run. I also appreciate how well the receptionist handled all the patients that came in while I was wait. She is very user friendly and has a great disposition.

About Blood Tests

Blood tests are used as valuable snapshots of your current overall health and can be an effective way of catching illness or disease early, or measuring how you are reacting to new or on-going treatment. There are a variety of types of blood work with most common tests being complete blood counts (CBC), complete and basic metabolic panels (CMP, BMP), thyroid panels, nutrient tests, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) tests.

Each of these blood tests are fairly common and can be performed in a variety of settings including testing labs, primary care offices, urgent care centers, and even retail clinics and some pharmacies. Solv even has clinic partners in the Seattle-area that offer online scheduling, allowing you to book a visit convenient to your schedule and skip the wait. The tests themselves take only a few minutes and usually are performed by a nurse or technician where they:

  1. Clean the area where they will draw blood from, usually your upper arm
  2. Tie a band to your upper arm to make your veins more visible
  3. Put a needle gently into a vein to draw blood into the attached tube
  4. Remove the needle, then the band from the vein when complete
  5. Cover the draw site with a bandage

Risks associated with blood work are very low, but could possibly include slight pain or discomfort at the draw site, dizziness or even fainting from blood loss, or vein puncture. It’s important to discuss any concerns you may have with your medical provider before the procedure begins.

Blood Test FAQs

  • Where can I get a blood test in Seattle?

In general, blood tests are available at Seattle-area medical labs, urgent care centers, retail clinics, primary care doctor offices, and many local pharmacies. While walk-in appointments are typically available, booking a visit online will reduce your wait time and ensure you have your blood work results sooner.

  • How can I book a blood test in Seattle?

Regardless of the kind of blood test you are seeking, Solv can help you book an appointment. Simply search for Seattle-area labs and healthcare providers, filter by the test you want and find a top-rated blood testing location. Be sure to include “blood testing” as the reason for visit.

  • Where can I get blood work after hours in Seattle?

Outside routine work hours, most Seattle labs and primary care offices are closed, however, most of the area’s urgent care and retail clinics are open later than typical business hours and on weekends. Book an after-hours visit to get prompt, no-hassle care and get your blood test results faster.

  • Can I make a same-day appointment for blood work in Seattle?

Same-day and next-day appointments for many blood tests can easily be booked directly through Solv. Simply search for Seattle-area providers, find a lab or draw station, and book the most convenient time for you. Be sure to include “blood work” as your reason for visit.

  • How do I find the best labs for blood testing in Seattle?

Solv gathers ratings, reviews, and other data on Seattle-area labs and healthcare providers to ensure the providers meet our high standards. Search for blood work providers, see what previous patients think, and book an appointment with a top-rated lab or clinic today!

  • Who should get a blood test?

Blood tests provide a valuable look at your overall health and blood work should be done at least once a year. They offer a great way to catch illness or disease early on, or see how you are progressing with on-going treatment. Your doctor or healthcare provider typically orders blood tests for you during an annual physical or as necessary for a specific diagnosis. It’s possible to order your own blood tests without a doctor, particularly for things like STD tests or hemoglobin A1c tests.

  • Are video visits available for blood work in Seattle?

While a blood test cannot be performed over video, your doctor can both initially prescribe blood tests using telemedicine, and review results with you virtually.

  • How much does a blood test cost in Seattle?

Without insurance, blood work typically costs between $50 to $1,000, or sometimes more depending on the specific tests and the provider type you are having the tests performed at. At-home tests are available in most areas and could cost substantially less. Book a consultation with a lab testing provider in Seattle today to get more details on the specific blood work you are looking for.

  • How long do blood tests take?

Blood tests can be performed either in-office or performed on samples that are sent to an outside lab. The collection itself should only take a few minutes, and the results could be ready within a few hours or up to one to two weeks depending on the test you are getting done. Once you’ve received your results, your doctor can discuss them with you either in-person, on the phone, or through a video visit.

  • Is blood work covered by my insurance?

Most common blood tests are covered under insurance plans, particularly when your doctor orders them as part of an annual physical or supporting a diagnosis. If you are self prescribing the test, however, it may not be covered by insurance. If you have questions about your specific insurance coverage, it is best to contact your carrier or your provider.
