Finally, Reliant prescribed me Bactrim for an insect bite on my spine which was not that bad but I insisted. Lucky for me. Despite Bactrim and Cipro are not good for my kidneys, Bactrim has cured my throat after 7 days. I am not planning to take Bactrim again in the future, hope I will not get infected again. I still gargle with saltwater too.
