Short Wait Time

My first time here as a new patient. The wait was maybe 10 minutes if that. The fact that this Henry Ford facility has access to your My Chart on the Epic system made the transition to a new facility easy. A very nice building and an convenient location. Staff was friendly and professional. The Nurse Practitioner I saw knew exactly what was going on with my condition and friendly. I would definitely recommend Henry Ford Go Health Urgent Care.

Brita and Caroline the PA were amazing! They were very efficient. I love how clean the facility was. I would recommend these two ladies and your urgent care to anyone. I work in the medical field and I was very impressed. The only thing I would recommend would be wheel chair accessible doors. There should be a push button for entrance and exit. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10

It was quick & easy to do the test myself in my vehicle.

Overall it was a good experience. Very short due to all that was needed is just setting up a scheduled time to get swabbed. Having to set up a virtual visit to book a time for a COVID test I understand is probably a way to control the chaos and flow, but I also see this as a money grab as well for the convenience fo booking a time slot vs just waiting and hoping for not a large queue as a walk in. Since it requires a virtual visit that means that more than likely this counts as an "office visit" which then means there's a copay literally just to have a doctor say, "Yep, we'll have a scheduler reach out to you". Thankfully I have insurance to help cover whatever the copay might be. I understand that this is probably bigger than a Beaumont Urgent Care concern, but I just wanted to share my view on this.

I was having difficulty in obtaining covid-19 test results so that I could get a needed anti-body infusion done. I even tried other clinics. But for some odd reasons the results werent being processed as quickly as promised at those other clinics. You people were able to squeeze me in on a last minute basis twice. The 2nd time was needed due to issues being experienced at the labs, similar to the other clinics. So your folks squeezed me in for a 2nd try the next day with the hope for quick results 2nd time around. Your staff came through for me. That allowed me to recieve the needed infusion. I'm greatful for the effort you folks placed in helping me reach my needed end goal. I'd recommend your Shelby Twp clinic to everyone. Great staff there.

This was the only place open for a Sunday test that I could find online. It was a bit of a drive, but fairly efficient.

Lady who did me and my husband’s Covid tests today was very efficient and quick. I feel really bad because I mentioned that the lady who did it the last 2 times was more gentle. After thinking about it I think maybe the kind of swab was what caused the difference in experience as the lady was not unkind in anyway, even after I inelegantly said ‘ahhh, the other lady was more gentle’ after she did my first nostril. Even after my blunder she was as careful as she could be on my other nostril and was as careful as possible with my husband (his first covid test where he did not swab it himself). Not sure if this will get to the lady who did our tests, but if possible please tell her thank you and I’m sorry.

The staff was very thorough and polite. I would recommend this site for Covid 19 testing.

- Verified patient on 11/24

the nurse administered the covid test and the pa who consulted us on it were great however the nurse/tech who initially met with us in the exam room to check vitals wasn’t apparently having a great day... she first asked if anything changed with my son’s chart... to the lay person, we didn’t really understand her question and i’m not sure we answered correctly... she then asked what his weight and height after walking past the scale and height measurement device to get to the exam room... lastly, she didn’t share his vitals with us before leaving but just closed her laptop and said the nurse would be in... i said thank you very clearly but she didn’t even acknowledge my gratitude... as noted, probably having a rough day as the clinic was busy but thought you should know

Quick, easy, friendly and clean! We always try to book here when we need Covid tests.

Emily was great! Friendly and gentle with the covid test :)

My daughter tested positive for covid on an at home test. I planned ahead and set up an online appt to get her pcr done. You can’t call the facility directly, so I left her in the car while I ran in and told them I was there. When we went in one of the nurse’s or techs (unsure of what she is) freaked out that I was bringing my daughter in. My daughter was already distraught and I didn’t appreciate her reaction. I needed the pcr test for her school and for my work, so I didn’t have a choice but to bring her in. I just feel like she was very unprofessional and it really ticked me off. The receptionist tried to be a barrier for us, but I still overheard the nurse/tech. Thankfully she didn’t come in and take care of us if I would have had some words with her.

I booked my rapid test 40 minutes before the appointment... I couldn't find a rapid test anywhere else in the area in such a short amount of time. The staff was very prepared, attentive, and friendly. Recommended!

Great place. Very professional. I have been there three times to get my grandchildren tested because of outbreaks at school.

This is a wonderful option for people who are unable to meet with their primary for urgent concerns. I have also utilized this urgent care office multiple times for covid testing. They are always kindly accommodating to my specific needs. The wait time was not bad at all! I expected to wait much longer as we were delayed for the appointment arrival time. With covid concerns and in need of testing they were still able to accommodate me and my s/o for testing. Cinnamon has been a great provider to us at the Springfield Urgent Care. Her bedside manner and compassionate care shines through. She explained what was going on to the best of her knowledge with the symptoms we have and has provided us with guidance and a care plan to assist in fighting off whatever cold or virus we have. It seems that she truly cares about helping people well. I would definitely recommend this urgent care to my friends, family, or even a stranger looking for local care. Receptionists were friendly and accommodating as well. It think it's been my 3rd or 4th visit there. The consistency of quality of care is impressive. I'm so happy this urgent care is available in my area as pinckney/hamburg/whitmore lake residents now have and option other that going to a hospital in Ann Arbor. Keep up the fabulous care!

Quick and efficient place to go for a PCR test for travel. They were very friendly and even though they were actually closing on Thanksgiving day when I called and I was 20 min away they agreed to stay open to do my test. They went above and beyond and I am so appreciative. Hope the technician enjoyed his Thanksgiving dinner! 5 Star rating across the board! 👏👏👏

A little hard to find as no obvious sign but once there surface parking is close and easy to find in the building. All staff were friendly, helpful and invested in my comfort level and wellbeing. Results were emailed really fast. I would definitely go back if I have to if travel Covid tests don't lift.

- Verified patient on 11/18

The person who performed my test was very professional and comforting. All my questions were answered and despite not knowing my results yet I actually felt LESS stressed leaving the clinic because of how I was treated and spoken to during my appointment.

I waited just shy of 2 hours for a rapid Covid test…when you don’t feel good that’s a long time. At 9:21 I spoke with someone inside and informed them that I was in spot 18, she replied that someone would be out to get my license and insurance. One hour later someone called to ask if I was there. Explained again I was in spot 18, she said she’d be right out. Many minutes more she came and got my license and insurance card., then returned them. I got a call about my symptoms and why I was there and then directed to go around the back of the building. Just shy of 2 hours I got my results and left. 2 hours is a long long wait. Otherwise your staff could not of been nicer or more accommodating. Maybe you can work on the check in procedures? Thank you for helping me.

I was nervous to come into the building and the staff came out to my car to give me my test.

Detroit Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
