I cut my leg badly a couple of days ago and needed help asap! I immediately thought of the closest Urgent Care on Valley Forge Rd. and Sumneytown Pike in Lansdale. I was a walk-in and there were a couple of sick children ahead of me so they immediately got me to a private room where I wouldn't be exposed to germs and cleaned my leg while I waited for the on-duty physician's assistant, Catherine Moran. She was attending to those ahead of me but came in to evaluate my injury and informed me that the wound would require stitches. When she finished with the others, she attended to me and did an outstanding job! Not only was the stitching painless but the quality of her handiwork was fabulous! She was calm and reassuring as were the nurse who performed the preliminary duties (blood pressure, information gathering, etc.) and staff. I was impressed with the competence of everyone involved and would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need! Thank you to all of the staff who helped me!

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

The wait was 3 hours for a molecular Covid test required for surgery. Maybe there should be a special section just for patients who need this test. But otherwise the staff was very nice.

- Verified patient on 12/2

The Dr. was very friendly and caring. The only complaint was that my “Rapid Test” was not then sent for more conclusive testing. My primary Doctor would not see me with only “Rapid Test” results.

Other than the 1hr wait time on a scheduled visit, i was not made aware of the fact that i was supposed to wait in the car until i was summoned by phone/txt. ( i was being tested for covid). Perhaps it was an oversight on my part, but i did not see it mentioned in any of the online forms that i filled out prior to my visit. Other than that, all was great..mike

All the staff was especially nice and over caring!! Which is always a plus in my book! Especially when staff could be short, only thing I could think of in these times is to tell clients to not waste a test if only showing mild symptoms which could be the flu and save the test for others who could use testing the most especially those who are Definitely autoimmune. And give courtesy to those who are their first and just in the vehichles waiting, cause those people are just taking extra precaution, but not the staffs fault

Best urgent care experience my wife or I have ever encountered. We are in our seventies and recently returned from Florida. Since returning we have both felt a bit off. I made an on line appointment for Covid testing for both of us. Entered all our info on line before the visit. We didnt have to present our insurance cards at the desk. Reception staff was competent and professional. The PA who tended to us (Julia Smith) and the technician who gave us the rapid covid test were both totally awesome.

Front office staff Vicki, Jess and Whitney AMAZING! Clinical staff friendly and knowledgeable, special thanks to Nick for being so informative about the test I was getting and as always to Dr. Harris for his kindness, taking the time to listen and be thorough with patients despite the craziness of urgent care during a pandemic.

Everything was great except for our wait time. Our appointment was for 2:30 and we waited for two hours. They were kind enough to come outside and do a COVID test on my mom who is immune compromised.

Second time at a second location in a week for covid testing. Quick and convenient online booking and paperwork. Staff are friendly, place is clean, and they move fast! This is for Runnemede and West Deptford locations.

Aside from waiting for an hour after my appointment, the PA Julia was amazing. After myself and daughter received positive covid tests, she reassured my daughter, being thorough and explaining everything. She was truly amazing. The girl that did our covid test was wonderful as well.

The one that did my covid test is the best. Didn't even feel that Is annoying tickle in my nose. The Doctor was helpful and caring. Thank you for your service, just hope the bill is too high

I had a really difficult time getting a Covid test thru my employer and Riverside was amazing! Very professional, easy to schedule. I had an early morning appointment so my wait time was minimal. Customer service was exemplary from time I walked in until leaving! Will definitely utilize this urgent care again !

I went there to get a rapid COVID-19 test done on me because my daughter had been diagnosed with COVID-19 as positive on Friday, April 16. I was due to go for my second shot of Maderna vaccine yesterday! So I wanted to know if I had already had the COVID-19 virus or not before going for my second vaccine!

Scheduling very difficult as I was told covid tests needed to b online and couldn’t. Told by phone call to come in person. Wait was close to3 hrs.not sure why 2nd swab not done. Staff great!

I went to Riverside to get a rapid test for COVID-19. Within 10 minutes they gave me my positive results. I called my pulmonary Doctor Who told me to get to the ER right away. So here I am receiving excellent care on the same steroid treatment as Trump. Feeling important!

This place had over a dozen openings on the same day. Rapid testing was available. Had to wait a bit in the car, but as soon as I was called in they took me back. My husband was also tested in the same room with me. Jessica was extremely friendly and nice during a time I’m sure is stressful being around so many sick people. Nursing is putting your life on the line these days. I thanked her for her service. Then doctor Preston came in and he was extremely proficient and asked many questions and answers all of ours. Came across as a very caring doctor/ person. Made sure he assisted with all of our needs/ questions. At the end of the visit he even walked us out of the room to the door and said take care. Who does that?? It’s rare and I would totally recommend. Great job guys!

I wanted a rapid COVID-19 test. I could not make an appt on the 31st. I was told to show up early on the 1st as a walk in. I was there at 7:35 am waiting in line. At 7:45 a woman told us there would be no walk in appt for testing an we needed to go online and make an appt. Well, that part sucked. I did make an appt for 2:30 that day. I showed up 15 min early and had already submitted my insurance information on line. From there is was a short 15 minute wait in my car and I was called in. The staff was pleasant, and the doctor was very friendly, professional and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed at all. I understand sometimes software (especially scheduling) have glitches and I will still award 5 stars. Thank you, A very happy patient.

I was greeted as I entered. I was given a brief form to fill out. I didn't wait 5 minutes and the attending nurse saw me . The test didn't take long. The PA came out with the result quickly. Very professional.

I came for a COVID test. It was very efficient. The doctor who gave me my results also checked my lungs, heart and throat. The young lady who gave me my test was very kind and as gentle as she could be.

I went in with fractured ribs and what I thought was the flu however, I tested positive for Covid and was told I was high risk and I should go to Cooper Hospital for an infusion. When I got to Cooper ER I told them what Riverside said waited 3 hours in the ER to be seen only to be told since I am on a blood thinner I cannot get the infusion it was high risk for me. I was kept over night by Cooper due to my breathing and the fear I would end up with Covid pneumonia. I was finally sent home with a breathing machine to exercise my lungs and I am quarantined .

We came in to have a Covid test for an impending procedure. My overall impression as I walk through the doors was that it was extremely clean and all personnel were very friendly and helpful.

Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
