I was very impressed. The staff were all courteous and helpful. The P.A gave several useful suggestions for addressing my dry, sore throat. Most of all, I appreciated being able to make an appointment. The urgent care centers I have visited in the past did not offer appointments and sometimes i waited many hours to be seen. Today I was in and out in 40 minutes. I will definitely use  Priority Urgent Care again.

I’m visiting from out of state and needed to see a Dr/Pa Making the appointment was easy, was able to fill the paper work on line, that always speeds things up. The young lady who checked me in was friendly and professional. Ms Grant who went over my issue was thorough and professional .  I would suggest this Priority Urgent Care and when visiting again if Im in need for medical care I will return.

Cory was amazing. My only major concern was that I identified that my daughter had a medication allergy and the APRN who saw us prescribed the one she was allergic to (which I picked up at the pharmacy and paid for) and I had to call back and get a different one. If they document allergies, that should not be ignored when prescribing.

Overview of STD Testing in Springfield

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, regardless of whether they are experiencing symptoms or not. This includes individuals who are in monogamous relationships, as STDs can remain dormant for years before showing symptoms. Those who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, or share needles for drug use are at a higher risk and should be tested regularly. According to the CDC, sexually active gay and bisexual men may benefit from more frequent testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining your health and the health of your partners. Many STDs do not show symptoms immediately, and some may never show symptoms at all. However, untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, including infertility, cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications.
